Here I have an overloaded
inbox of mylot discussions
to respond to and my own discussions
to reply to and emails to answer
and messages and my other sites that
need attention....Geeeeeeezzzz
I don't know where to start..
I am wondering if I should just
start fresh today and go forward
and just try to do a bit each day
of past things until ...maybe
by next year some time I might
be caught up...
How do you deal with it all?

I think you're worrying too much. I have had so many issues in my life lately that I haven't been close enough to my computer to do anything. I used to feel real quity too till one fine day I came to the startling conclusion that all my myLot friends would not only understand but they'd still love me no matter what. I have never been an overly religious person but it's been since I got hooked up to myLot, I have seen aand felt the power of prayer. I have been reading my posts but just haven't got to answer most of them. I know you've been through a lot lately and don't worry we're all here for you.

This is the best advice you can give, and the best message. Friends are always friends, and understand about these things.

It's not good to feel overwhelmed. Don't let it stress you out. You can forget about doing it all if you'd like, but if you prefer to get everything done, I suggest doing little by little of the old stuff here and there while trying to stay current with the newer things.
Don't let it overwhelm you though -- MyLot should not be cause for stress dear! Relax. :-)

I never caught up from the time of the last big email deluge we had the end of march, I did get other people's emails answered but my own responses, well I haven't had the time to go through them, they are six days old I think.

Oh I do know how that is believe me. I wasn't on much the last few days so I had a bunch in my box to go through. I basically went through and read them to see if I could respond, if not I deleted it. Then I started responding to those I could. I still have some in my box to reply to but I think I'm about caught up. At least enough where my box isn't going to explode with all the mail in there
I would suggest not to panic. Go through and just respond to the ones you can as you can. The rest don't worry about. We can't post to everything on here. We'd be here all day and then some. Good luck though at getting caught up.

Don't feel you have to respond to everything. We understand what you've been through lately.

I would say just start fresh, as far as myLot. Raydene, I know I understand why you haven't posted much- whether to my discussions or to comment on a response I may have given one of yours. You can go through the messages, but be quick on the delete button- or else you will never catch up! You can work on your unresolved discussions one by one but I certainly would say to not worry about commenting on every single one. I am sure I can speak for most of your friend swhen I say we all certainly understand!!

Hi raydene! How are you dear? When I was away from mylot for a few months, my inbox was so full that I don't know where to start or how to start. I got stressed just thinking of how can I catch up. What I did is to star from the newest email notification each day until I get to the bottom list. However, never reached it because a good friend told me here to just start fresh and our friends here will always understand since one way or the other, almost all of us have gone through the same thing of being away for awhile. So, that's what I did..I start fresh and if I am done, I just go on to my friend's profile and check on their created discussions and try to respond to them. Just my thoughts dear. Take care and have a nice day!

I try not to worry too much. But then I never add very many discussions on any one day. I try to keep it at three or less, that way it doesn't get out of control.
Being too busy is probably a good thing though... it keeps you out of trouble after all

Ive just logged on to mylot, and ive not been a member for very long. But I now see that I ahve loads and loads of emails from mylot,so my problem is the same.I dont know whether to do as you suggest,do a few at a time,or what to do,but im sure it will all work its way out in the end.Its what happens I suppose when you havent been able to log on for a day or two.I hope all goes well with your replies,im only a member of mylot, how I would cope if I was a member of more sites well I really dont know.

When I get over run like that I generally reply to my loyal friends first and then when I hit a quiet spot I go through the rest of the replies. If someone has taken the time to reply to a discussion, I do feel it's only fair to acknowledge them (even if it is eventually) I do this by finding one of their discussion that they have started and responding to it! In no time at all you've found some decent discussions to reply to and your listing rating has shot up! Good luck!

Hon, don't worry about catching up. Do as you said - start fresh and if you get to the old stuff, great, but if you don't, that's fine. Despite my own best intentions I still fall hopelessly behind, even being here what seems like 24/7! I always just hope all my friends understand if I can't always respond to all of their discussions but sometimes it's just not possible and when you have things going on in your life like you have it's even more difficult. So don't sweat the small stuff! This is supposed to be our fun place, don't stress over it and make it like a job!

Me too, i have lots to do. I do mylot at work and i just give my extra time during break or during my boss is out. And i have lots of discussion here in my inbox, i have lots to response to. Eventhough there are lots to do, I am still happy because my friends here in mylot is never tired of sharing their discussion. It is better i have so many to do than nothing. I think i have to adjust my time.

I am trying to play catch up myself after having a couple of weekends away and find it just so difficult but I do try but I am sure people understand if you can't and if you have an inbox that full I would start again from today and maybe answere all responses and gradually catch up by going through discussions my friends have started rather than through the individual email link. You may miss some but will catch up a fair amount over the next few days by doing this. Good luck with it. Ellie :D

I am sort of in the same boat as I type so slow and make
so many typos it takes meforever.but I usually just set
some time aside and just do what I can and hope sooner
or later Iwill get caught up again. Its not the best
solution but I always seem to get caught up eventually
and that is what counts after all.
