What is your favorite Proverb?

I do love proverb and when I was in teenager I once won a prize for proverb contest. (Number ten actually. 
but the contest had thousands of application) My fav old timers proverb is "Biar Lambat Asal Selamat" In English it mean, Do Not Rush At doing anything. Just think it over.
Sometimes the proverb can help us. Like today when I wanted to join a MLM business online. I almost tempted to pay cause I already look at the website and their introduction. It look real good and very professional. I also check the search engine and all people saying good thing about the site.
I thought of this proverb. So I wasting hours reading the website all over again, all pages and I without a doubt know that the site is another cheating people money ones. Very proffesional and good though. I also find a review (page 5 or 6 from Yahoo search engine) that confirm my conviction. I write it more clearly in my blog later.
Anyway, this old proverb "Biar Lambat Asal Selamat" save me about 30$ permonth.
