I was pickpocked last month. Unluckily, I was stolen last week.
Have you ever experienced this?

I, personally, have never been stolen; however, I have had things stolen from me. lol
It doesn't matter how "secure" you think your belongings are - if someone wants them badly enough, they WILL get them! I keep a wallet full of Monopoly money in my rear pocket - on purpose - just in case a pick pocket thinks they're going to be "slick" and try me. The joke will be on him. (Monopoly is a game, here in the USA and uses fake money to play the game.) So if the thief ever gets that wallet, they get the Monopoly money plus a rather rude note which reads, "Hahahahahahahaha!!! F*ck you, loser!"
The first time I ever had something stolen was when I was at work. (This was 15 years ago.) We didn't have lockers; which should have been provided. My purse was ransacked and $200 of my grocery money (all the cash I had on me) was taken! I took it pretty well. I didn't get mad... Until my boss said "you should have kept your purse up." I hollered at her, and said, "Well, maybe YOU should have provided a locker, in which to keep my purse up!" I sued her for lack of theft insurance (because by law, a small business owner is required to have this, incase of incidents like these, and she didn't, because she was cheap, and it was looking like my poor, broke behind wasn't getting my money back.) I had no choice but to sue her - I needed my money; I was poor - and I got my $200 back.
I have had my car broke into twice - both times, the car was locked. I never leave anything of value in my car, but my boyfriend (now my ex-) had left the stupid faceplate on the car's CD player (in the Toyota), and someone broke in and ripped my entire dashboard apart to try to steal the player! Thankfully, they must have been caught in the middle and taken away, because the CD player was still there. It's just that everything was mangled as far as my car's dashboard was concerned, and blood was everywhere. DNA SAMPLES for the cops!!! LOL Luckily, I had a $1,000 deductible and only needed $200 to fix the car, plus the broken window.
The second time my car was broken into, was three weeks ago in the (now current) Chrystler. Thankfully, I have an alarm on THIS car, so it scared them off as soon as they tried to break in (they tried a slim jim or something like that - thank God they didn't break the window, but I don't think they could have, being the windows on this car are tinted.) Of course, there was nothing they could take. I do have a 6 disc CD player, but it's well hidden and not obvious that I even have one.
They say that you shouldn't put things in your pockets, unless it's in your front shirt pocket, but I don't ever keep anything in my pockets. Lately, I've been keeping everything tucked into my socks. I still carry a purse, but that only contains a brush, lipstick, lotion, and frivolous things like that - things that are needed, but not that important. It has been my experience (via friends of mine who have been mugged) that people who will boldy come up to you and rob you to your face will shove you down and take anything they can (like a purse, and necklaces and watches, rings, etc. They don't bother searching you - that would take too long, and would put them at risk of getting caught. So keep everything of importance in your socks and ladies, if you wear neckalces, and rings, make sure before you go outside to put your rings on your necklace, and loop the neck chain through each strap of your bra. When the crooks go to rob you, it won't appear that you have any necklaces on - only you will know.

I must correct myself: I don't keep anything in my pockets... OTHER THAN the pick pocket fake-out wallet.

Yes i have been stolen once in a local train. That bugger stole all my money and my wallet. My pass was there along with my debit card.
