Do you use Post-It Notes? I do use them a great deal! You can find lots of them on my desk in the office as well as in my desk at home. You can also find some in my bag. I have Post-Its in different colors.
Based on my research, others actually call it "sticky-notes". The Post-It Note was invented by Art Fry of 3M.

They are a marvellouse thing those post it notes, I used to always use them, sometimes I still do but not as much. I like the fact that they now come in all shapes and sizes and you can get really tiny ones!! I have them stuck in places around the house that I go to first thing in a morning so that I remember what I have to take with me that day.

Isn't it great that someone thought of doing these post-its?

I use them for work and sometimes at home. I tend to use the smaller ones at work to jot down a note for the bosses or for myself. And, I like the multi-colored ones.
I call them Post-It Notes because that is their brand name. I like the green ones the best. I also like the larger pads of them with the lines. I create lists on those. Or, if I have a bunch of little notes, I'll transfer those little ones onto a big pad to make one sheet instead of 20 small pieces of paper.

Oh yeah. I use post it notes daily for a list of all of the things I want to accomplish. I go through alot of them daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. I cannot do without them. I hate it when I run out of them or lose them also. Those are my lifeline and my future plans.

I too like using post-it notes frequently. But I use them at work place only on the side walls, files, books etc.,.At home, when I do put some, other members of my family inadvertently remove those messages thinking that they are just waste papers or product labels.

I understand what you mean. My mom gets a little irritated with all the post-it notes on my desk sometimes.

I never do, but my daughter bought some and somehow they ended up in the possession of hubby and he's using them like a notebook.. (Note to self: buy hubby a small notebook!) My 'post-it' notes are the ripped pieces of paper I write my notes on and put on the bathroom mirror.. whether to myself or to other members of the family.. come to think of it though the post it notes would work great for putting an important note on my forehead.. then maybe I'd remember what it is I'm supposed to remember..

Since i am a very forgetful person... post its notes are a great help for me in remembering what i have to do... and even telephone numbers... when i was working abroad... we used different kinds... with different colors and sizes... post it notes create a lot of litter... but at least it is the colorful kind...

Sometimes I used it but not always. Sometimes it was lost along the way. The brand usually is by 3M. To me the best is one fourth of a letter size bond and make some notes and just staple it. I even use the scratch papers for my internal office small note.

Yes jer31558, there are people who DO NOT use post-its. I have lots of colleagues who do not use post-its. They would rather use small pieces of scrap paper. lol! Not that I am saying it is bad to use small pieces of scrap paper because I am pro-recycling. However, my fear is that if I use small pieces of scrap paper and it falls from where I have posted it, someone might pick it up and think it is trash.

My problem with using small pieces of scrap paper is not that someone will think it trash, but rather that I will not have a clue what page it marked.
