Is it really okay to lie?

Do you think telling lies are okay if it saves someone's feelings frombeing hurt? Or is it worse because of all the other lies that sapn from that one lie? What about when people evade the truth? Is that the same as a lie or is it just another technical way around a lie?

It is not okay for me to lie. Better not to say anything if you will just lie about it. I think for those who are trying to evade the truth, they very well know it will hurt someone. So I guess the best way is to try not to talk about it, thinking it will eventually be forgotten.

its never really a good idea to lie (depending on the situation). its just like a big snowball going down the mountain, the more you go with it the bigger its going to get and once it hits its not going ot be a good feeling!

People need to learn to tell the truth. Without hearing the truth, we are disillusioned . We believe the world is one way, when it is not. These "white lies" turn into bigger lies all around us. People should tell the truth, but don't be mean when you don't have to.
