STINKY dog!!

OMG, my Boston Terrier, Gus, is sooooo stinky! His breath is okay, it's the other end that's awful. We'll be sitting on the couch reading or watching TV and I'll hear air escaping--I frantically start blowing towards his bottom to try to keep it away from my nose!! And I've learned not to sleep with my face under the covers! I've tried yogurt, they say that helps, but not for him! Any suggestions? Is your dog smelly like that?
