Major Government Security breech or not?

Canadian cabinet minister, foreign affairs minister maxim bernier, has a girlfriend, so what you may say, but this girlfriend was affliated through marriage, to the imfamous hells angels.
the opposition party is screaming this is a breech of security for our great nation. Our prime minister Stephen Harper is scoffing it off.
He is saying we do not bring into the public what happens in the bedrooms of our nation.
Do you think that the girlfriend once being maried to an outlaw hells angel biker gang member is a breech of security|?

What does his girlfriend's past have to do with the present times. It's not a breech of security, unless the Hells Angels shows up and starts a fight with the foreign affairs minister. That would be a sight to see if it ever did. I think the public just doesn't like for Bernier to have a girlfriend with a not so sweet past. I say leave the two alone, I agree with him, what happens in the bedroom is their business and their business alone.

it is more than that, the security breech is that because of her strong connection, canada does not know if she is still involved with them if so that is a big security breech. She could be feeding them back very important information that she can find out about government activity.

Bernier shouldn't be telling his girlfriend anything that deals with government activity. If he does, then he should be removed from office for being stupid. Girlfriends comes and goes, so do wives. I also did a search regarding the Hells Angels in Canada. I should of done this before I responded to your discussion and that's my fault. Honestly, I think Bernier should have checked to see what chapter her ex belonged to. Here in the states we have four sections, only one of those sections are the bad apples, which make the other three look bad. So hopefully, Bernier dug in her past deeper, because it's his fault that he didn't, and his country that's at risk.

I am not really sure what to think about this really. I think people do tend to get mixed up in the wrong crowds but it does not really mean that they are a bad person. I think some things should be left alone or unsaid if they do not have a prior record of any kind of misdemeanor. I really don't think it is a breech of secuirty at this point.

he was fired this week, apparently he left important papers at her house, that is definitely a breech of security.

That is hardly a breach of security. Now maybe if she'd been married to a spy of some sort but to a member of Hell's Angels? Give me a break. That sort of thing is penny ante and should be left alone. Who cares who he is seeing as long as he's not breaking any laws in the process? I think there are more important things to worry about.

But the thing is she was not a member, she was affiliated by marriage to them only. That's why it's penny ante. To be honest I haven't seen any news on the Hells Angels in years and many of the things they are accused of it is some people not the whole group. That makes a big difference.

I don't know the details about the girl and her background and how much and in what way she distanced herself from the previous one. What I can say is that it is common for criminals and also for foreign Governments' agencies to use girls for specific purposes; for espionage, for stealing and for killing when required. As I don't know the details, so I can't say how much it could be probable in the case you mentioned.
While it is certainly their private affair but things aren't that simple and public figures needs to be extra careful in what they choose and how they go about things!

no she was not used by the government as on assignment, because that would have been sanctioned she just liked hells angels, the question remains, was she and is she still affiliated with them that because a security breech.

she seemed to be very much into that way of life she married one who was killed and had a boyfriend of several years of another one.
