I have read postings by many members here.some are as short as just a line, some just ywo words or three words, but there are some that it becomes so long that i do finish two cups of coffee before i can get myself to finish reading their post then i now start organising the best way to answer the epistle in a short but accurate manner without leaving out important facts.I jsu wonder if our postings need to really be an epistle to get more points.Tell me how long ois really sufficient when making a post or response?

I am probably someone whom you finish 2 coffees before being done with. But, I have shorter responses too. So, for me...it is all in the subject. There are times I have a lot to say on a subject and, other times where I have hardly anything to say at all. I don't think there is a rule as to how long a response can or should be. I think it is all up to the person who is responding. I won't stop until I have no more to say on the subject and, it has nothing to do with my earnings. I don't respond in a certain way in order to get more earnings. I just say what I am thinking and, sometimes that is longer than others. I think the only rule is that you shouldn't give one, two or three word answers and, I think even one sentence is most times, not enough. Not to say that I have never given a one sentence response. It depends on the subject and, sometimes it depends on how much time the person who started the discussion put into the question. If they gave a one sentence question, they usually don't get much more from me. But, if the person who started the discussion was thoughtful, I will be equally thoughtful back and, sometimes, that means you get a long answer. Possibly like this one!
