I won $40,000 last night!!

I spent a couple of hours playing blackjack and roulette and I came away with big winnings! Okay, it wasn't real money. And the roulette table guy was really generous about who won. Blackjack was more of a challenge, but I've played it before and had a bit of luck on my side. This was a charity Casino Night that our office had for the Tulsa Family & Children Services. Everyone who played was able to exchange their chips at the end of the night for chances to win several different prizes. Besides helping a worthy cause (which is a winning thing on its own), I won a beautiful Texas Hold-em Poker set (which I'm probably going to give to my dad for Father's Day, because when he goes up to his cabin in New Mexico, they like to play cards at night). I also won the right to wear jeans to work for two weeks this month. Normally, we dress in business casual and "Jeans Day" is only on Fridays. Have you ever "gambled" for a worthy cause? I've never been to a real casino, but I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't bet so boldly with real money (we were given $2000 in chips for bringing in donations of money and/or needed items like household goods, toiletries, etc.). Have you gambled for real? Even with play money, and knowing I wasn't really losing when I lost, it was kinda exciting to win.
