That's what I was saying Saturday. See, I live in Central Fl. We have annual passes to all the Busch theme parks as well as Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Aquatica, Sea Worlds water park just recently opened, we have never been, so we thought we'd spend the day there. The Simpsons Ride, at Universal, also recently opened, so we thought we'd go there as well. We took some friends, who also have passes, I had to turn around and go back to let them get their Universal passes. We drove to Aquatica in Orlando (30 minute drive from my house) only to discover they were at full capacity. It was only 11:30AM So we decided to go to Universal to hit the Simpsons ride. When we got there, I discovered not only did I forget my pass, I forgot my daughters' pass too. Sooooooooo we had to stand in the customer service line for an hour. Where I proceeded to say to my husband "I'm sorry I'm stupid" He said "louder" so I yelled it out probably about 4 times while we were waiting to get our passes to get in. The lady at customer service made me feel better though. I told her I was stupid as well. She said, "If I call you stupid, I'd have to call half the people in the park stupid. It seems it is "I forgot my pass to Universal Day" We got in, had a wonderful day at both Universal and Islands, The Simpsons ride was worth the 1 1/2 hour wait. We never did make it to Aquatica though. So.. have you ever dones something as dumb as this? Did everyone have a good sense of humor, or were they p!ssed for the rest of the day? My family knows me, so we could laugh about it.

Rotflmao.... Bless your heart. My husband would have been ringing my neck. he would have painted a sign that said I am stupid and taped it to my back. I am glad you had a very good day however alls well tht ends well right? We went to Disneyland in California once and we walked from our hotel to the entrance, to avoid the traffic that was horrendous at best. Well we get all the way inside the gates and I remembered i had left my camera at the hotel. Needless to say there were no pictures of the California Disneyland other than the ones we had made and paid for. My husband was not walking back! Yup color me blond!

This happens alot. It's called being human. I have gotten to the bank to use the ATM only to discover I didn't put my card in my wallet. As long as nobody is in a hurry, they have a sense of humor about it. Hopefully no one was too hard on you.

No.. the funny thing is, it seems EVERY time we go to Univeral or Islands, there is alwaysa a problem with somebody's card and we usually spend an 1 in line at customer service anyway. My husband was laughing when he told me to say "I'm stupid" louder.. but still.. I made sure everyone else had their passes but me. I have also gone the ATM without my card

It sounds like something I would do. You must be taking lessons from me. I am glad you still had a good time.

It sounds like a common human error! At least you did get in and that seems to have made your day a good one!

Yeah... but it just kills me that I was adamant in making sure everyone else got theirs. All in all it was a good day

I saw that! It makes us more humble to realize how human we truly are!

No I have to say that I have never done this, only because my hubby takes charge of all the things like that so it is down to him. He has never forgotten anything like that either. I think the worst things that he has forgotten is when we were going on holiday once and I wanted to take the iron and he told me not to worry about it as he would put it in the car along with his kite. We got halfway there when he realised that he had forgotten both the iron and the kite, so we had to just get by with creased clothes, luckily it was only for a weekend!!

Yes because when they forget, it is so gratifying to see them squirm and try to make lame excuses up as to why they forgot!!

We also have annual passes for the parks. And I NEVER have my SeaWorld pass when we go. NEVER. It's not that I forgot to bring it. I forget where I put it. Duh! Now my wife keeps it for me... We have not made it to Aquatica yet either. From what I understand, it sells out around 10:30 - 11:00 everyday. We have thought about going early like all the other tourists, but then, do we really want to spend the day at an overcrowded park? So far the answer has been, no. We will probably wait until the off season or a day when we feel we can tolerate the crowds (or the kids whine loud enough!).
