Ok, for all you ppl that like to decipher dreams I have a doozie for you. I woke up this morning from a weird dream. In the dream I was in a type of school, I was asked to make an epoxy. I started by mixing flower seeds and live crickets together in a pile. I then added ammonia, black lacquer and ½ a dryer sheet. Instead of epoxy, I created a golem (it’s the big mud man in the picture). I have no clue why I would dream any of this. I haven’t used any of these items nor watched any movies with golems, spells, potions or anything close to it. So, what do you think about the dream? Where do you suppose it may have come from? Do you ever have dreams that make absolutely no sense whatsoever? **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

(Ecc.5:3,7. 3 As a dream comes when there are many cares, so the speech of a fool when there are many words. 7 Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore stand in awe of God. )

Well, school indicates something about learning, so I would say either you are in the process of learning about something or are open to learning. You were mixing things together, which suggests creativity of some kind. You don't indicate if your golem was fearful, friendly, interesting or just a surprise? Is something in your life turning out different from what you expected? Someone else asked about your emotions in the dream and those are vital clues toward meaning. Also any repetitive themes are clues. It is an interesting dream!

The golem just seemed to be a surprise...I guess I was expecting an epoxy and it turned out to be a golem. The only major change in my life is that Hubby and I have been working hard to rebuild the closeness in our marriage. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

That was a doozie. Did it scare you? It would have scared me. I've recently had a dream that left me feeling afraid...of what I don't know but it is my sub-conscious telling me something. I sure hope things are ok with you and yours.

It didn't really scare me it just surprised me. I tend to have some really off the wall dreams so it's not a huge problem for me. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Oh, goodie, I love to decipher dreams. Let me just put my dream deciphering cap on...OK. Maybe you have been sniffing too many of those dryer sheets! I suggest that you create a golem capable of doing your laundry! Then you would have more time to smell the flowers. I think from an interpretation point of view the most interesting thing about your dream is that you put only 1/2 a dryer sheet in that pile. I am curious, though, how you knew it was ammonia? Did you see the label on the bottle or could you smell it in your dream? It does have a rather distinctive odor. I cannot think of any dream I ever had, though, where I was able to make out the markings on a can or bottle of anything, nor one that included the sense of smell. Sometimes, though, I dream I am conversing intelligibly with someone in a language that in waking life I am quite unable to speak or understand. That is pretty strange, huh?

LOL I think I will stick with doing the laundry...golems tend to be not so bright or so I've read. I knew it was ammonia b/c that's what it said on the bottle. It was a large glass bottle and had the word ammonia on the front. I read things and have even heard beautiful music in my dreams and can remember for a short time after I wake up but then it's gone. I have had a couple instances where I've had smells and cold sensations follow me out of dreams but I think if I went into it here ppl would think I'm a pyscho. If you want to know more, you might want to pm me...at least then you'd be the only one to think I'm a fruitcake **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Maybe the dream is telling you to gain more strength from nature. I don't know, have a hard enough time trying to escape people from my past in my own dreams. Dreams are believed to be a way that our minds reason through issues we have in our lives or can be a problem solving tool as well.

twoey what an odd eerie dreamn i have no idea what it means as you said you have not used any of those items nor watched any movies about golems either. just one of those inexplainable dreams. Like the one in which I am searching for J.C Pennys store and end up in an industrieal part of atown and have to call a cab and of course it is so real then I wake up and am so glad it was only a dream.

Wow, two friends with real dreams, strange ones. I had a nightmare of a sort to wake up to, will post a discussion when I know more. Maybe you had your weird dream because of my issues. Your 'epoxy' sounds rather nasty.

I have no idea, is there a person you would like to get away from in your life? perhaps that is the reason for the golem.

The golem in your dream represents yourself, the self you need to be. Your making process the process of making yourself, or perhaps I should say, the remaking of yourself. The golem also represents strength so your dream is telling you that you feel you need to be stronger to cope with the problems you are facing. all the best urban

Girl, I'm sure glad I don't have your dreams or I'd really be in a mental institution. lol The voices in my head are enough to drive me insane as it is. No, all my dreams make perfect sense to me. Least the ones I remember do.

Yes, that is an awfully weird dream. The thing is, it's almost impossible to know where exactly that dream came from. Generally though, it's something from your days experiences. Maybe a mixture of your thoughts, things you may have glanced at, or well just about anything you experienced really. Smells, things you've touched, etc., and your mood i'm sure plays a role too. All of that put together is what I personally think makes up the dream & since you experience so much in a days time the dream can turn out to be any number of things from scary to exciting, to just plain confusing! There is always a meaning though, just maybe much more hidden depending on how eventful your day was! Hopefully this was a helpful answer, =P and I know this is probably a silly question.. but what is epoxy?...and how the heck would all of those result in a golem! lol =P

I once kept a journal where I recorded the nights dreams and the days events all in one book. Many years later I came across it and was reading through it, and I was having a hard time telling them apart. Some of them I didn't say and to this day I don't know whether it was a night dream or a day 'dream'. I love dreams. That's a very interesting one you had there. I wouldn't even 'dream' of deciphering it... only you can do that really, although I don't bother trying to decipher my dreams any more, I just take note of the feeling of it. If my dreams don't feel good then I change my thinking during the day, so you could say I allow my dreams to guide me. But it's especially interesting to me because this is the 2nd or 3rd time that epoxy has been brought to my attention. I think I need some epoxy. I wonder if I could fix my fiddle with epoxy?
