I just received in my Spam folder another one of those ridiculous e-mail scams.
The e-mail reads,
"i am Mrs. Virgil H. Storr i am out of the country for 2 months i will not come back till july. the reason why i am writing you now is to inform you that i have a parcel with the Fedex company,i will not be able to get the parcel again i am out of town. i want to give to you the parcel adn in the parcel is the sum of $200,000.00 USD and some other of my document. contact fedex for this parcel with the below information:Email Address:fedex_delivery.com@liv.com Telephone (gave number)
Note:ecurity Keeping Fee of the Courier Comapny so far has to be paid by you, and it cost only $120 USD.Contact Fedex Now for the parcel."
Another sad attempt by immoral people trying to get over on innocent people. Hopefully no one will fall for this foolishness.

Haha, I received this type of email almost daily in my bulk folder! I think that it is very obvious that emails such as these are scams because it is impossible for someone whom you don't know and never met in your life to just be so kind to give you money that you didn't earn in the first place. Besides, the whole email in text form is just a little too simple for someone dealing with such a large sum of money; it just makes the email look so sloppy that it's so easy to tell it's a scam or fake. I think this is just a very silly attempt to get the attention of gullible people who would fall into such scams. In some other scam emails, personal information are requested and I think only those really really gullible people will fall for that. Normally when I receive these type of mails, I would either just delete it straight or I would just be a little adventurous and sarcastic by replying to the person who emailed, "Who are you and why are you trying to give me something that isn't mine? Are you trying to get my personal information? Would you believe if I'm going to call the police about this?". Not sure whether that will scare them off but it's certainly worth a try!

Surely nobody believes this stuff now days with all'
the scams and attention called on them. If they do
I cannot feel sorry for them as its so patently
a scam it is not even funny.
