If you own an MP3 player, and I'm guilty of singing along too, please make sure you can sing before you croon an out of tune song. I had to listen to a lady today that made me want to go and buy every song she was butchering. I was looking for a vaudeville hook to yank her off her pretend stage. Maybe she works for iTunes and sings off key just so people around her will buy the music she's howling to. Could be a great marketing tool.

I glad this drives someone else crazy, I actually record, so I suppose that gives me the right to sing along with my ipod, but I don't, at least not in public. I'll do it if I'm in the car with the ipod plugged into the radio, but just walking around singing? nope, won't catch me doing it.
Just be glad she wasn't singing anything of mine(yet), I have a 6 octave range(mariah carey has 7), so chances are she wouldn't even be able to hit 90 percent of the notes. :) hmm, you make a good point, maybe i should just allow free ipod downloads of my song, then have her go around butchering them...i wonder if it would sell?

That's funny about the hook. I don't sing when I'm listening to my Ipod. I know how my voice sounds and I know that I would never subject people to that. I guess she got carried away, it happens. When I'm listening to music on the radio and a song I know comes on, I immediately grab my guitar and play along. So, I know what's she feeling. She loves a song so much that she feels the need to contribute.

Maybe she sings off key so that people will buy ipods and headphones to drown her out!! LOL Someone was doing that at the hotel in AZ I was visiting, a few weeks ago, singingin along with some kind of Christian music. It was really scary!!

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, not just "a" noise.
