Okay as I am myLotting the TV is on as is the surround system as I watch and listen to the Country Music Awards. Now my question is, is the sound quality really lousy or what? the voices of the singers as well as the music seems to be fading in and out all too much. While I am at it does Reba look like she has a ton of make up on or what? Over all I am enjoyinh the show except the quality of the sound is lousy. Does it sound okay to you or is it also fading in and out as far as volume? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I agree with you. When Brad Paisley sang I found that the music was drowning out his singing. Then when others sang you could barely hear the music and the voices were so clear they almost sounded flat. You could barely hear the music at all. This just seemed to occur with the men. I think the women sang great and the sound quality sounded right but a couple of them sounded like they were singing accopella and off key. And I was thinking it was just me!

I don't watch TV, so it is hard for me to say anything about sound quality. Best friend of mine always says that sound quality is related to your speakers. Maybe your surround system needs adjustment, or maybe TV production is not very good...

I think it was at their end in Vegas. Other shows and music channels were great sounding. It was nit pick as far as the CMA sound went. Some performers sounded great without the flucuating sound and others were bad. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

It was an on and off thing. It wasn't the TV or the system as we turned on MTV and VH1 and they sounded okay. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM DADDY!!~

You know I said last night as we were watching that something was wrong when they were singing. It was like you couldn't understand the words at times... they sounded muffled to me-- and low at times. I wasn't impressed with it either. I love country music and I love these award shows :) It was still a good one to watch-- but I would have liked to hear all the words more clearly. Especially Kenny as he is my favorite.

I didn't get a chance to watch the awrds. I didnt know they were going to be on. I work alot of hours and have the tv off most of the time because it really distracts me while I am working. There are only a few shows that I watch weekly. We have a big screen tv and the sound on ours is better, the further away you sit from it. It has surround sound too. The CMA may have had some technical issues.
