Today the wife and I decided to grow some cauliflowers this year as we never planted them prior. So we went to a few nurseries getting various veggies and flowers. we planted 6 caaliflowers today. We hope they grow well. They stayed perked up after planting them so that's a good sign. Can't wait as we both love cauliflower in salads and plain. I love them deep fried with zuchinnis and tater slices and egg plant also. How do you like your cauliflower if at all? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I know who's garden I'm going to raid this year. I LOVE cauliflower both cooked and raw. I love to dip raw in ranch dip or steam it with broccoli and drizzle either melted herb butter or cheese over them.

I've got alarms, sirens, lights, belles, whistles, remote secrutiy cameras, and a monsterous watch dog at the garden. Good luck. But if you happen to get past all this, please weed it before you leave. Thanks. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I can get by the monsterous watch dog with no problem. It's the others I'm wondering about. But, if I do, I'll be happy to weed the garden in return for some cauliflower.

This sounds gross but as I hate soggy cauliflower I love to break it into florets in a pyrex bowl por in a little milk cover in grated cheese, add a little salt and pepper to taste and cook for a few minutes in the microwave . The cauliflower is still firm and crisp but the mil stops it drying out- it is delicious! xxxx

You don't actually taste the milk - it is just better for steaming the cauliflower than water is! lol I can understand why you wouldn't like it though! It is much better than cauliflower and cheese sauce though as the Caulie tends to be crisper and you don't have a heavy sauce just tasty melted cheese! MMm I am in hte mood for this now and there are no cauliflowers in the housse - must add some to the shopping list! xxx

I can't wait to see your sweet little plant yielding the beautiful cauliflower. It is such a sight to behold and I look forward to seeing the vegetable after a few months. How long does it take for it to bear fruition? I just have no idea because it is a farfetched dream to see these cauliflower plants in our city.I have seen some long back when I had gone on a holiday to my uncle's place. They used to live in huge quarters provided by the govt and there were so many servants to tend to and nurture the plants.[The luxury of being a top govt official.]I was most fascinated by this plant with a cauliflower and I certainly would love to see your cauliflower too.

I have no idea how long it takes to fruit. I just plant when it's warm enough and wait. That's the type of gardener I am. Friends request was sent your way recently from me as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Oh yum....I love cauliflower. Cauliflower is one of my favrotie vegetables and it is such a healthy food to eat. It (and all the cruciferous vegetables) are good for ridding the body of oxidants. We love to roast our cauliflower. Hubby puts the cauliflower on a cookie sheet and very lightly spritzes it with a touch of olive oil. Then he sprinkles paprika, oregano, garlic powerder, lemon pepper (depending upon which spice we are in the mood for) onto the cauliflower. He roasts it until just barely fork tender. YUM!! We also like to steam it and mash it just like mashed potatoes. Many people don't believe us that it is cauliflower rather than potatoes!

I have sprinkled the bagged shredded cheddar over it and also slices of American cheese while the broccoli is hot and there is also a can or two of cheese on the supermarket shelves that are great for this.. If I don't have cheese on hand, I just use a sprinkle of salt and it is so good..

I don't really like cauliflowers but members of my family does. I planted some this year from seeds, but they don't seem to be growing. Next year I will try them as plants and see what happens. Hope yours do good!

I really don't care too much for cauliflower. I can eat it with some dip though. I love fresh vegetables but cannot hardly eat any kind of cooked vegetable other than corn and green beans. I hope yours grow well. We only planted three tomato plants, and some green onions and some leaf lettuce this year. I have too many other yard projects to do this year.

Well hi there. Have not seen you around much as of late. Good to see ya again. Now I love cauliflower deep fried the best personally. I hate seafood even plain old fish isn't too tasty to me. I do like shark having eaten it a few times though. At my wifes restaraunt (Middle Eastern) they have a great fried vegetable dinner. Its potatoes sliced thinly, eggplant, cuailiflower, and zucchinni deep fried. Some secret spices sprinkled over them when done, then some tahini sauce to dip them in. Yummmmy! I like cauliflower in salads. I also like to eat it plain as a snack. It's really an inexpensive snack. And if I am in the mood for something salty, (I salt mine) then it is a lot better for me.

I do enjoy cauliflower actually and sometimes if I am lucky I can get the kids to eat it too. I have to say though that I have never tried deep fried cauliflower, I was not even aware that it could be fried!! Is it nice? I have never had cauliflower in a salad either, not sure that I fancy that one. I usually eat cauliflower on a sunday dinner with mint sauce on it, or in a cauliflowere cheese, it is nice with cheese sauce on it.

Mmmm, I love cauliflower too. I've never had it fried, I usually just steam it in the microwave for a bit and eat it plain with salt, sometimes a little butter. You can cook it longer and mash it almost like mashed potatoes too, and that's awesome. I've never grown broccoli or cauliflower but I would like to. I'm hoping we can get our own place this year and have a decent garden next year.

I only like cauliflower 2 ways, raw and cooked. Honestly, I've never found a way I don't like them. They are one of the 3 things I like on pizza.

I like cauliflower. My favorite way to eat it is raw or with cheese. I also like it cooked with broccoli and melt cheese over it. I have never had it deep fried but I bet it is good! I seen it mashed like mashed potatoes on a cooking show one time and thought that I would eat it like that but never tried it.

I love cauliflower. My favorite ways to have it are either steamed with lots of cheese, or steamed with garlic and a little salt. I've never had them deep fried. Good luck with them, if you end up too many, you can always send some my way.
