Amanda's Trial Date Coming Up

For those of you who have responded in the past to my discussions regarding Amanda's traumatic incident last summer, I thought I would give you an update.
I called the courthouse a couple of weeks ago and talked to them about when the trial would be coming up. They said the pretrial date is August 8. When this date occurs he will be standing before the judge to enter a plea. If he pleads guilty (which we wish he would but know that he probably will not) then that will be the end. He will be given his sentence and that will be the end of it. If he doesn't plead guilty then the actual trial date will be on August 18 where they will go to court and a jury will decide the outcome.
I appreciate all the support that you have given to Amanda in the past over this and she does also. I will keep you posted as to what happens. God Bless!

You know that you can count on me Sweetie I know I have not talked to her lately but I have so much going on at the moment and I would not be much use to her
But please let her know I am thinking of her and we will talk before then I promise that

I know you will be here for her too hon and I know you have had a lot going on in your own life with your health and your son. If you plan to try to call me on my cell phone or want to talk by Instant Messenger just let me know ahead of time if you can so I will make sure I answer my phone. Thank You for keeping us posted. It's nice to know how things are with my myLot friends. Please tell Amanda from me that I am praying for her and hope this will all come to a close soon. Amanda this is not your fault and remember hon you are good stuff. Take Care.
