plastic suitable for chicken food?

Im looking into manufacturing plastic containers for bulk chicken food storage. Do you think it would be important for it to be made from a food grade plastic, and if so, what do you recommend?

I think it's a good idea. I wonder if you can make it out of recycled plastic. It will also be lighter than metal containers. I think if you can get it approved by the authorities that regulate animal food, I would go for it. Just make sure it's sturdy so that your customers will like it.
