Today (Tuesday) I awoke to the sun beaming into my bedroom window warming my face as it was sticking out from the covers. As I rubbed my eyes waking up I smiled as I peeked out the window and the sun is shining today brightly. Yesterday was a nasty day here in Minnesota. It was under 50 for a high temp and windy, a little rain all day on and off and gloomy. Not one ray of sunshine till nearly sunset. I slept most the day yesterday afternoon. Now today I may get something done outside. But then again I may just go for a bike ride. Near 70 today for a high but still not near normal temps for this time of year. Okay is your sopring normal as far as temperatures go? Has it been a cold spring for you at all?

The temps here are like they have been all thru winter, a friggin' yo-yo. One day it's nice and warm, next it's yucky and cool. So far, the weather channel website says sunny till Thurs. with chance of showers on Fri. but temps are steady mid 60's. That will all change by tomorrow I bet.

Going to be nice and in the mid 70's the end of the week and a little rain maybe on the wekend. So hopefully the garden survies. It will as we are not due any frost nor freezes here. A couple hundred miles North is a different story. They have freeze warnings out for tonight I heard.

Right now I am going in and out watering the flowers, fruits, gardens etc. The wind is kicking up fairly high though. My flag is straight out as well. But it is like 65 right now and sunny. Feels good even with the wind.

What is a normal spring, I just have not got a clue anymore. Last year we had roasting hot weather from around the beginning of March until the last week of May when it went cold and started raining and never stopped all summer. Causing horrible floods to many people.
We had either a week or 2 weeks of gorgeous weather about 2 weeks ago where temps were hitting 24 degrees and it was lovely, now we are back down to 19 degrees and to me that is cold I have been freezing for 2 days.
So I am not actually sure what are normal temps for this time of the year, all I hope is that by Saturday we have a turnaround and temps go back up to 24 with loads of sun, cos I am off on me hols!!!

Quite the opposite here. It's more like summer here with the heat. It's been in the 90's and such. But I am getting out and bearing the heat. Today I got out and weeded out my garden. It was hot but also nice.

Not one ray of sunshine through the day!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here it is shining a little too brightly for our taste.
I sweat like a pig and evenings are also sultry. Anyhow, being in Mumbai I should feel happy thinking of our less fortunate counterparts who are now reeling under a heat wave in many parts of India. May is terrible in India and it is rightly called the period of Fire [in our regional language] In some parts the temperature soars to even 45 or 47[places like Delhi/Andhra/Rajasthan].This is the three week period from May 5th to 27th.
South india is unbelievably hot and it is a case of hot, hotter, hottest throughout the year. Here it touches a maximum of 42. At least in Mumbai, the monsoon should set in after June and it is generally moderate after May., through the year.I have lived in the southern parts all my life and now despite the perspiration levels here , it is relatively better even in May.It does not go above 37/38.

It has been a pretty cold spring for us also here in Indiana. We have had some days that were up in the mid 70's but most of the days so far have been down in the 60's or 50's. Here recently we have had 70 degree weather during the day and in the 50s at night. after today, it is supposed to go up to the 80's though. I am ready for that.

We have had a wet spring, but cooler than normal.. Like todays high is only going to be in the lower 60's..Usually at this time of year I am thinking hard about getting the pool up, but that is the last thing on my mind..

It was really nice here yesterday and it looks like today is going to be another nice day. We did have a few days where the weather was a little cooler and gloomy, but it seems to be looking up. Yesterday the hight was in the lower 80's here. I am not sure right now without looking, but I would say it is in the 70's.

Here in Nebraska right smack in the middle of the United States it has been in the high 70's to lower 80's It is suppose to storm every day the rest of the week and that is normal for Nebraska this time of year. It always rains and the wind will blow over Memorial Weekend so it makes it harder to decorate the graves.

Indonesia (where I live) had only 2 seasons, summer and rainy days. So we are in summer now. usually it could get really hot and dry. Like now, the temperature probably about 33 celcius degree and when its very hot it could go up to 37 or 38C.
I will do a little walking in the park neighborhood at the afternoon with my dogs. Try to do a litlle exercise.

I have to agree Bob, it has been a chilly spring. I had to turn my heat on Monday nite, I was freezing.
But like you I woke to the sunshining, I went for a walk, worked in the garden, picked up lunch and ate it at Powderhorn Park. I opened all the windows in the house and just enjoyed the day, and now today is equally as nice. I must say, this is what keeps me in MN, these glorious days like yesterday and today.
Loving it!
