Whats best to do First?

I am a little confused i dont know whether to first respond to a discussion first or to start a discussion first. Whats the best to do start a discussion and write all you want first then start responding to discussions what other mylotters have started or vice versa...does it really matter? Is there a best way not to miss the responding to some discussions that you like ...cause i have this problem ...when i go to respond to some one 's discussion and then when am back to start a discussion something i already wanted to write is posted there....or if i start a discussion first and then go to respond i see so many responses and it feels like the other my lotters have already responded like i wasnted to do...aint this confusing? any suggestions on what to do first?

i think you dont need to be confused. whatever you need to do, just make sure it is where you are most comfortable with. for example, i find myself answer post than making discussions. why? because all the discussion i made seems uninteresting to mylotters and i never got more than 10 responses, i think so it is rather disappointing for me and i feel i should just stick to answering posts. :D haha
