Do you re-read or preview your post before clicking the button?

I'm nit-picky about my discussions. Most times I double check everything to make sure there are no stray or spare words left over from a previous edit. And, I try to read each discussion that I am planning to post, with an eye for how others might view it. Not everything gives the same meaning to the same words. I try to make sure my words are crystal clear, so there's no misunderstanding.
I try not to spend too much time on it. But, when I get tired or hungry, I'm more likely to reread everything two or three times. It's so much easier to stay focused early in the morning, when I'm posting. Do you reread and double check your posts before submitting them on MyLot? Do you spell check? Or, use preview discussion button?

I tend to watch tv while I am mylotting so if I get involved in the show in the middle of typing a post I will re-read it before I continue typing or before I send it. Other than that I don't preview the post, I just post it. :) (that may explain a lot lol)

I usually re-read my discussions to make sure it makes sense, but I don't really worry about how others will view it. I didn't even really think of doing that lol. I spell-check as I write. I don't ever preview it, though. Sometimes I will just write it out and press submit.. that's when I run into problems like misspellings in the title or something and wish I had re-read it first...

I always read what I have written before I hit the post response button. Sometimes I read over it twice. On occasion I miss something, but I appreciate it when people are careful with their spelling and grammar when they post. It makes it easier to understand their intent.

I'm not as careful as I used to be. But, I'm still pretty thorough. I think that I had much more time before the New Year. Not so much these days.

Yes, I tried to re-read my comments and post, but due to stress and in a hurry mood I will realized later that my spelling is wrong and the right word was not used. Sometimes I am making a follow up of the correct word but I hope I was able to correct it. I can also noticed that on others post and the reason might be the same. I can understand also those whose English is not thier first language, or those not very much at ease on use of english. Of course everyone must understand.

No I don't preview my post.Simply because I type it carefully the first time itself.A preview is required only if you are concerned about formatting and stuff like that. Here in myLot it is just a simple display of posts and formatting is not that important.

Hi beautyqueen. I started off previewing my posts, but since the computer was slow, I began just re-reading and doing spellcheck before posting the response without previewing it. So far it has worked for me. But there have been a few occasions when I've read the final post/discussion and discovered a spelling error or a missed word and that irritates me! I'm pretty nit-picky myself. :D

I am usually thinking about three diferet things at once, and don't tend to preview discussions, I just hit "post" and "tag" and away I go.

I do preview my post before submitting or posting. However, there are times when I can't do this because of some factors like time constraints. I am of course careful about spelling and punctuations. Happy posting beautyqueen26!
