Days Off - How do you spend it?

Yesterday was my day off. I don't have a consecutive days off like most people, so I'm off every Wednesdays and Sundays. To be honest, I was very unproductive yesterday. I spent the whole day lazing around, reading a book, watching DVDs and chatting online. When the day is gone, I felt guilty not doing anything constructive. I wonder what most people do during their days off. Do you do something special during the days that you are free, or do you spend it catching up on chores? Do you go somewhere to unwind or do you simply stay at home? Feel free to share.

Well we tend to feel guilty when we spend a day doing nothing. I have that kind of feeling when I spend my weekend without any "achievement". But when I have a day off, I am not sure what I will do. If I have a lot to deal with my study, that day can be productive. If not, I can just spend the whole day doing nothing important, like reading, surfing the Internet, watching movies, hanging out with friends or just simply sleeping. I know I am waisting my time somehow. But I just don't want to do anything sometimes.

Well, some of it is spent on mylot, but Ideally, I would be going fishing. I do some yard work as well. Most of the time I do not go anywhere, unless it is fishing.

Usually, if I'm not here on the internet trying to make some cash, I'm doing other errands. I also am an artist and photographer, too, so I work on that. I'm also considering going back to school to finish my art degree. I already have a couple of degrees, but I wouldn't mind getting some kind of certificate in that area or something. I can't afford to drive or travel anywhere right now with the way the energy prices are nowadays.

my day offs are spent at home, in front of pc, watching tv, playing psp, and chatting with friends online. in the afternoons, my brother would load us a movie and so we will watch the movie together. :)

On my days off I will try to get some stuff done like cleaning, laundry, ect. I feel like where I run around all week at work my days off are my time to sit and do nothing of much really. I don't feel bad about this for we all need to relax sometime and my days off are the only time I get to do this kind of thing and oh how I like it. I dread when Friday night comes around for that means another week of running starting all over again.

I know how that feels. Sometimes I feel like my day off is all about chores. Thanks for sharing!
