Hello fizanali! The answer to your question is highly depended on your altitude to these technologies. If you are highly addicted to the games and if you consider yourself as a TRUE gamer, then it is not your pc to get upgraded because nowadays the games are being released on Consoles rather than Pcs. And some of the games are released as 2 different versions and you wouldn't play the pc version if you see the console version of them. This thing applies me for Fifa08 of EA sports. Their pc version is not a very good thing but if you check the PS3 or Xbox 360 version it is really great! YOu can't even compare each other! When it comes to choose one of PS3 or Xbox 360 now that's the problem. I had started a discussion about that a few months ago and I think if you are really into games, then PS3 should be your selection. I think you should wait until you have the money to buy a PS3. Because as I heard, you have to pay extra money to play online games on Xbox 360 and that sounds silly to me. However, Ps3 is different from that and you can play online for free. You also will have more selections of games because it is more popular among game makers.

Well, we can give each advantage for the choices you enumerated but, just think of what you will really enjoy best and decide on it. Sure, you can upgrade your PC and it can really do more than what those consoles can do but, if your a console gamer, certain games just don't go well with the PC, they all would look like ports. If you can save money right now, you can still save money later on. Patience has its rewards. And since you do consider purchasing second hand items, you can always save some more and purchase second hand consoles later on.

Computers tend to be best at office apps and do well at graphics/media if you buy high end. Game systems play games. You have to decide what you want out of your system. Are you a game junkie or do you need business aps?

If I were you ,I will wait for PS3 when I have enough money. Because I'm a TV players .I dislike play games on computer . If you really want to play the games right away, you can lend some money from your parent or friend . I'm sure even if upgrade your pc,you can't get the same picture and quality of the game . In the past I have attempted it .But it's really disappoint.

Thanx for the advice, it's just that it's easy to say to be patient but hard to do it and i don't worry much about the graphics as long as the gameplay is good.
