I have just returned to MyLot after one year of working on another network...
I thought that I would find a much content and good reads than there was when I left. The quality was starting to wane and wax and then faded, altogether.
Perhaps with the addtion of the newer MyLot features maybe some of the zestier writers might find their way back...
That doesn't seem to be the case as of yet, but I know that there are some very good writers out there, and I'll do what I can to encourage them to return...
Now when is the the next Full Moon, and can anybody lend me three chipmunks and a bottle of Whiskey?
Some candles might help, too! :)

It's reminding me of the myLot when I joined, and you could post a one-line response and get paid. Perhaps I'll have to search out the discussions and see if I can find something to respond to...I've been feeling kinda blah the last few days, and not really inspired to post much. It's disappointing. 
Our next full moon isn't until July 18th; the last one was on June 18th. I could probably trap some chipmunks at my dad's house (they like to chew the car wiring, so I'm afraid to park long-term there, at least until I find something to repel them!), but you can't loan a bottle of whiskey (heck, I'd drink it first!). I've probably got candles here too...different types and scents. Whatcha got in mind friend?

I thought I was the only one who noticed this. Yes, there are fewer discussions to respond to. In fact, I noticed that I rarely reach 20 posts daily (responses to others' discussions). I used to have as much as 30 to 50. I rarely start my own discussion so I make sure I post as many responses as I can. Unfortunately, I can't do as much anymore.

Me too...the digest is a great idea, but even that lately hasn't really had too much to interest me. It's hard to search for topics (I don't get the whole "tags" thing anyway
). I'll keep trying tonight...to make up for my day off at my yard sale!

haha. i can really feel that! i mean i found too many boring discussions and i feel like my brain are not working very well with mylot lately. some questions are just too lame to answer, thus i have not posted too many these days!
i think the best discussions have gone somewhere else... people are not in mylot lately... i wonder where they have all gone.

Perhaps the powers at myLot began checking for more quality topics (remember when you would find (and get paid for!) responding to "What's your favorite color?" discussions?). It's a shame--with so many people that have left or been banned from the site lately that used to post these types of discussions, it seems that instead of removing the 'riff-raff', they've chased off some of the cream!

I definitely feel like all the posters aren't posting as much. Since it is the weekend, it's kind of understandable though. And it is a holiday weekend here in the US so a lot of people are out doing things with family. Mylot usually slows down during the weekends so I think it will start to pick up later tonight or at least by Tuesday morning.

I'm in the Delaware Valley, and this is the first Memorial Day where the weather was GREAT! (unfortunately, gas prices kept a good number at home too). I took the opportunity to work yesterday and have a yard sale today--I made $75 or $80 and didn't even make a dent! I hope myLot comes up with some good discussions--I was actually referring to the trend (the last few weeks or so), not just this weekend.

Somedays it seems I can't find anything at all to respond to. I think it is just me at times, I don't always have ideas. On days like that it is just best to start some discussions ourselves.

I was surprised by the last couple of digests--I was able to find at least FOUR separate discussions to respond to! 
My brain's not firing on all cyllinders right now (this darn sinus infection is driving me NUTS!). Maybe now the holiday's over, things will get going again!

Six months ago, before I left MyLot to take
a break, I was posting a lot of discussions.
But since I have come back, people keep
complaining that I post too many.
It verges on harrassment.
Other members were following me around
from one discussion to the next making nasty
comments about it.
So now I just post five or ten discussions daily.
I suppose everyone is happy because the stalking
and harrassment have stopped.
As for intelligent discussions, that is hard to find
anywhere online.

I agree...there's little (if anything) to respond to lately. Perhaps it's because the 4th is in a week, and everyone's starting their vacations early? (what's a vacation!) I'm sorry you were being harassed by others...just goes to show you how immature people can be!

All the old friends are here. May be they are all just so busy with many activities, online and offline. I have been spending a lot of time with my online writing activities.
Get to myLot only in the evenings, just for a couple of hours.

I really think now that it's officially summer, people who are fortunate to be able to stay outside or go on vacation have done so. I unfortunately, am not one of those people. I'm hoping that the newbies who are on and posting start posting some intelligent discussions soon...this is killing me!
