This plot is in my front drive next to my deck. It seems to be my favorite as I am always in it weeding more than my other plots. It has 6 Hostas. These get a long stem with purple flowers on them. I also have about 20 Lilies here. And one Hydragena bush that looks beautiful comes August or so. it is edged with marigolds as well. Do you have a favorite garden or flower plot of yours? Oh wait till ALL my Lilies bloom. I have maybe 50 or 75 scattered in various beds etc. The Hydragena is the wifes. They don't do real well here in Minnesota due to our cold etc. They don't flower but for maybe a month here. I am planning on making a raised flower bed around my Red Maple out front one year. I don't have one yet, I dug one in front of my garage and planted some annuals with my tulips but wouldn't you know, the dogs decided they like to take a short cut through there! I'm still planning my landscaping, I've only been here since last May. I can't believe it's May and I need a sweater today, this is heaven!

I also am wearing a lined shirt as it is only in the low 50's here. I have trained my Buster to saty away from my garden beds all over the back yard. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

LOL! I don't think my dogs could take any more training right now, I recently got tired of their barking at anything that moved and I'm sure the neighbors were tired of it long ago. So I got out a coffee can and put some pennies in it and they stopped within a day. They hate that can. I think I'll just get a little fence or something to deter them. Poor things have had their fill of behavior modification for the year. I can't even get my can of espresso out of the cupboard without them fleeing from it!

Those are just Marigolds and are an annual so they die off and I buy more next time around I want them. All else shown and lister are perrenials. I forgot to mention there is also Ladies Mantle in this plot. They are at the very right side near the rail that is slightly visible. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I love hostas. I have a couple of them outside in my yard also. My mom gave them to me a few years ago. Mine gets the long stem and the purple flowers also. I have alot of live forevers. Have you ever heard of those. They live forever and they never die. You can grow them anywhere and they also bloom a purple flower on a long stem in the fall.
