losing points again

hello hatley, ya i will tell you one thing ....many people are complaining about their posts getting deleted and the points they are losing... well may be you are near payout... but there is no reason for your points to get reduced. again i have heard that the one liners and the small posts do get deleted and they get your points reduced.... well still ten any ways have a good day.

yep Hatley, this time of the month is house cleaning time for mylot. Last night I finally gave up, I would post 2 lose one, that happened several times, I just gave it all up.

To be quite honest Hatley I never really take a lot of notice. I did when I first reached a 100 and then 200 and then 500 but since then I don't really keep tabs. Perhaps I ought to eh! I t could quite possibly be they they are making adjustments here and there or a discussion or two that you have responded to may have been deleted for some reason. Hope they jump back up. Ellie :D

Hello friend- I lost a couple yesterday, too. Yes, I think as the end of the month comes up they go back and re-evaluate some discussions. Who knows how or why they select some, maybe the software they have that figures out the algorithm red flags certain ones based on criteria that is programmed in and the humans go back in to re-check them. It happens throughout the month, but I would imagine they pick up the pace as the end of the "pay period" comes around. It is a deadline of sorts, if you think about it.

This always seems to happen around payout.. This has been happening as long as I have been here. I used to get really frustrated and check my points every night and morning. However I gave up as there is nothing you can do or ever will be done by myLot about it, no explanations, nothing! Now I never look at my points anymore.

Hi Patsie, Yes it is always happening. To me too. I post and post and post and post and post and post till I am sick and tired but my points never seem to go up. They go up while I am looking then drop when I am not looking. But let me ask you: Are POINTS edible? If they are not, why bother about them? LOLOLOLOLOL, alright you can kick me now.

hi friends. i keep wondering myself why this happens all the time. It has happened to me too. I have a feeling if you do start a discussion that does not follow some of their rules they deduct a certain amount. Do let me know if you get a reply to the same. thanks

I don't know the reason but the same thing happened to me a few days ago. When I quit, I had 1401 and the next day it was only 1394. I don't know why, but am thankful it was only just a few points.
