to buy a cheap good pc, you should have at least a little knowledge in computers. get a pricelist if is available, make a list what parts are you going to need and of course within your range of budget. after listing it down. go to your store and let them asseble this for you, hopefully they will take care of the softwares as well coz some stores dont do this. now for the warranty, each parts of the pc has 6-12months of warranty excluding keyboard and mouse of course that has 1day to 1 week warranty only if im not mistaken. lastly, sales clerk will somehow gave you an idea what brand to buy but just be careful too that sometimes thay are for salestalk ;) have a nice day

well, it will depend on your objective. write down pros and cons and weight things depending on the risk and convenience that you are willing to take. If you are buying a complete set, you can get a standard warranty and can even extend the warranty for extra costs. this protects you from the hassle if you will have problems with your pc... as long as you read the terms and conditions of the warranty. this, in the long run, is more cost effective. however, you may not like the specifications of the pc that you will buy. it will be hard for you to get your wanted specs of you will buy. the other side is true for buying assembled pc. you will get what you wanted, but it is difficult to get extended warranty for these. this means that if the pc crashed and it is outside the warranty, you will spend more on buying extra pieces. goodluck. choose well. pcs are investments.
