I have been having problems lately. See, I have a discussion in my mind and I've been thinking of it for days. The problem is, I don't know where in my interests should I post it. I'm doubtful that I might post it in wrong interest. I wanna know, how do you go about this kind of situation here at myLot. Or have you been like me? You have a discussion and you're doubtful where to post it?

I haven't really had that problem. Is it a question you want to ask the myLot community? Because you could put it in Q&A. Or, you can even start your own interest group for it. Give me a hint and maybe I can help you figure out where to put it. Just tell me a key word and, if I can help, I will!

Thanks for your concern, it's about having a chance to have a plastic surgery for free. Sounds weird don't you? LOL

There is an interest called Health Concerns and, there may even be one called surgeries. Now as for weird...not really. It does depend on what you have to do to get it for free. Is the doctor reputable? Is someone gifting you with it? You would likely have to answer all those potential questions in your discussion. But, I think you could put it under Health, Surgeries or, if there isn't one already, you can start an interest topic called Plastic Surgery. Look under "health issues that concern me or some of the other interests. It is likely there somewhere!

It's not about me having plastic surgery.LOL. The theme would be for my friends here, if they will go for it or no, and what will they be changing. hahaha.

I already encountered that problem before. I posted my discussion without even searching for an interest. I ended with a discussion without a single response. That was a month ago, and up to this time, it's a discussion without a response... So now, once I start a new discussion, I keep searching for the right interest. But as your topic says, if doubtful, I would post it in "LIFE". Life is where all of us has. Life is where a lot of things is happening. Life is all we have, we all have LIFE...

I have no problem about that dhangski,When I am not sure, I will always put it under life or people or Q and A..LOL, But, i have encounter about doubting to post my topic, if it is worth to talk with, if people will be interested to respond, I don't like anymore to have post where only 1 or 2 people will be there in my discussions..I will feel sad..LOL

Sometimes, the "discussion" one like to post may not exact match to any "interest". I just have to go for the conceptually nearest interest.

I've only posted a couple of discussions so far and I knew ahead of time where I was going to post them. I guess I'm kind of anal or just descriptive enough. I usually scroll down the list of my interests and pick a category that I feel like talking about. Then I just think of something to write for that interest.

My problem is even worst than yours. Its not about having a hard time selecting or choosing the best or right interest for your new discussion. Its about choosing a discussion or topic to be posted. Its been a while already since my last post, I dont know but I could not think of something that would be of interest to other myLot members.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I have has this same problem. One day, I searched and searched through interest topics trying to find the exact one that would fit what I wanted to write. Then...my fibro fog set in (I have fibromyalgia) and I up and forgot what I wanted to write. :-)

I have had it where no interest seems to quite fit right. I would choose the one that I thought was the closest related to my discussion. One thing you may do is to edit your interests and add some more so that you will have a greater selection.

Thanks for the tip. I would probably do edit my interests. So the next time that I have a topic in mind, I will not have a hard time.
