Ok...once again! I want all of you to try to keep an open mind and not lose all respect for me! Just know that I take joy in everything that excites all of you and wanted to share my joy with all of you about the fact that....I got tickets to the New Kids On The Block concert in October! Yay! They had a pre-sale today and tickets officially go on sale on the 9th. I got ok seats. Not great, not bad. I got floor seats which are better than the ones I got when I was a teenager. I might have stood a chance of better seats if the stupid link that was supposed to get me where I needed to be to get tickets starting at 10 AM had worked. As a result, while I was ready before 10 to try to buy my tickets, the stupid link wouldn't get me where I needed to be so, I had to go search it out wasting about 10 minutes. But, overall, it could be worse! I could have nose bleeds or, I could have no tickets! But, I have tickets! Yay! I can't believe it! Bring on the nostalgia!
So, is anyone else going to an NKOTB reunion tour concert in their town? Have you all lost all respect for me?

I'm still a little bit traumatized by the thought of an NKOTB reunion tour, and I've been purposely avoiding hearing any of their new material. :) I was a HUGE NKOTB fan in high school, and saw them 6 times over the course of about 3 years. I never really got into their solo material, though, and I suspect I wouldn't really like their new stuff either. :)
However, I'm glad you're excited for the show! :)

Hey, good for you!! I'm not a big fan of the New Kids on the Block but your excitement is contagious and I'm beginning to feel excited as well. Congratulations.

wowww... that's great... i used to love NKOTB as well... i love their songs... but i won't be going to their concert as i can't afford to spend the money just for concert ticket... there are other more important things for me to do with my money... pay the bills, save for my holiday, groceries, fuel, etc... enjoy your concert and have a nice day...

Thank you! I am looking forward to it! I'm sorry you won't be able to go to the concert in your area. But, I can certainly understand the importance of what your priorities! My tickets were pretty expensive and the gas it is going to take to get there too is going to cost me as well. Ugh!

No, I'm not going, but I am totally jealous that you are!! I have NKOTB t-shirt that I wear to bed... it's all stained and hole-y, but I love it. I used to have socks, but my mom threw them away when I was in high school because they had holes in the bottom 
. If anyone would lose respect for you over something like this, they are nuts! Don't they know how awesome the New Kids are?!

LOL! Thank you and Amen! LOL! If you go to their website: http://nkotb.com/ eventually they will have their "store" open, it just says "coming soon" right now, then maybe you can get a new t-shirt for their reunion tour. Not to replace your old one with the holes. Just to add onto what you already have! LOL! And, maybe they will have some socks too to replace the ones your mom so wrongly trashed! LOL!
And, I don't know why people don't know how awesome they are! LOL! Did you see them on the Today Show? Were you smacked in the face by nostalgia like I was? It took me right back to when I was a teenager! LOL!

Hehehe I have not lost respect for you, I am jealous! I hope to go see them in October, as well, actually. I was mad when I found out they were in NYC only when I saw the Today show online, later the same day...I would have gone to see them! I saw them about 5 times during my last two years of high school (yeah I was one of their older fans lol). I was always trying to win tickets from the radio station too. I am actually going to go see if I can find any of my pins to wear to the conert. LOL Who's your favorite? Mine was (and still is) Jonathan.

I was one of their older fans too! LOL! I don't care! Music is what matters and, anything goes when you're a teenager! LOL!
My favorite at first was Jonathan and then, I don't know why, but I started liking Joey. But, Jonathan is still right up there!
One suggestion, go to their website and find out when the pre-sale date is for NY and buy them then so you have a better chance of getting tickets. But, go through the ticket master. For some reason, the link for the "Buy Now" doesn't do anything and it will have you wasting precious time while the best seats are snapped up!
Good luck getting tickets and enjoy the concert!

Oh My God why why why. I was never a fan of theres as a kid all my friends loved them but I couldnt do it. But I will admit to having a song or two of theres on my computer so I havent lost all respect for you just a little bit lol. I wonder what kinda crowd will be at the show its not gonna be the old school days of screaming girls I would hope. Oh wait youll be there screaming oh hes so cute. Im about to throw up lol.
Well Ill still be youre friend as long as you dont tell me you miss milli vanilli.

Oh, don't worry. I haven't lost respect for you. I'm the one who just last month in May went to two Hanson concerts with my 18 year old daughter. And I'm already waiting just as anxiously as she is to see when they post the fall tour dates if I'm most importantly gonna be able to afford to go to any of them and then if I will be able to afford it if any of them are gonna be close enough for us to go.

Thanks. And I'm glad you were able to get tickets so easily. And have lots of fun at the concert. Of course October is awhile away to have to wait, but by then you should really be hyped for it.

Good! Thank you for not losing respect for me! LOL! I can't believe I got tickets! I probably wouldn't have had I not found out about the pre-sale tickets and, had the hubby not had an American Express card that I could use! I don't have one so I had to borrow his! LOL! I heard that concerts are selling out in 2 minutes and in 4 minutes when they go on sale. So, I never thought that I would get tickets but, yay! I did! LOL! Enjoy the next Hanson concert you go to next time they come to your area!

Sorry enola! I just saw this response! I liked Joey McIntyre! LOL! Still do! That boy still has a smile that can melt my heart! LOL! And, they have all aged so well that they are still so freaking hot! LOL! In fact, I was never a big fan of Danny but, now that he is older, he got hot! LOL!
Oh, and I started off liking Jonathan but, Joey won over!

OK it has taken me four weeks to catch up with this one, it has been hiding from me, and all I can say is I am not surprised. What on earth are you doing, not new kids on the block! Do you not realise that they were partly responsible for the demise of my beloved Bros that were big in UK just before THEY came on the scene!
Oh well it was a long time ago, I guess that I can forgive them, dont know if you have been yet but if you have hope it was good and if you have not, hope that you have a great time when you go.

I have not been yet. The concert isn't until October 29th so, I still have a lot of time before it gets here! And, when it does finally get here, I will have a blast! Thank you!

I have not lost respect for you at all. Even though I was a huge NKOTB fan when I was 10 or so, I am not interested in the reunion concert. Until I saw this, I didn't even know that they were having one.

LOL! Good! I am glad you won't lose respect for me! And, I had heard rumors for about 6 months that they were getting back together and then I heard that they were on the Today Show to announce their new Album and their tour. Then I got all kinds of nostalgic the second time they were on the Today Show to perform. It just threw me right back into my teens! LOL!

I don't even know who new kids on the block are. -lol- That must make me seem one of two things. I'm either very young or very very uninformed. One of the two! Hopefully it means I'm young! Being uninformed sucks. :(

Awww! I'm sorry! But, you should still consider maybe doing a weekend in LA with a friend for the concert! You would probably even stand a good chance of seeing them around town while you were there before the concert!
I hope that you do decide to try to get tickets and go!

I haven't lost respect for you but frankly don't know much about the group... I grew up with Simon and Garfunkel, John Denver and the Carpenters... I hope that you enjoy the concert.

Thank you! I am glad you haven't lost all respect for me. I don't know much about the groups you grew up with either! LOL! I am familiar with their names and probably their music but, I can't think of any of it right now.
