I have not seen any "Magic Shows" directly.. very near to me.. but I have watch the same in the Televisions, a lot. In a "Kalaiger TV", every week on sunday evening around 7.30 p.m. one of the programme called "Logic Illa Magic" has been telecsted every week, in that the magician used to do the magic in the surrounding of the public.. He is doing some wonders, like he just ask the people to close their hands by holding a coin, after doing the magic, he ask them to open their hand, the coins are there.. what is the magic is there..??? "The coin is there.. but the watch what they tied up in their hand is disappeared" the same is available in his pand pocket, not only his watch, couple of other peoples watch also, he told them also to close their hands with out any coin. By that time the people thought that the coin may be interchanged from one to another hand.. but by this time he has disappear their watches.. its really amazing.. I have quoted only a sample here.. What about you. have you watch any magic like this..?

We went on a vacation to Chicago a few years ago. We went with my brother and sister-in law, she set it all up. I was surprised when we went to dinner one night there was a resteraunt there (I forgot the name) But they have magicians wandering aroud the place and they stop by your tables and do magic tricks, for tips LOL! But it was very cool and I couldn't figure out any of the tricks they were very good! tdemex

I'm sure it would be interesting to compare the real deal with TV. When a magic show is on TV, they probably have more opportunity to fool the viewer as to what they are really seeing. djbtol

I don't watch magic shows that can be seen on TV but there are times that I am watching it but not as a follower of the episode. I could only often watch the magic shows because of the parties. There are times it is ordinary but there are times it is very exotic.

I too have only watched on TV, one was where this woman comes out in a really nice outfit she has a companion with her a guy maybe her partner or husband idk?? but he holds up a round sheet of some kind that she steps into to cover her outfit so we can no longer see, he shakes the sheet a little when he drops it she is now wearing something else, they continue this routine several times and she is always wearing something different,, but there are no clothes on the ground of her previous outfits, I find this one truely amazing!! I dont know how they do it?? then there was this other one I watched cant remeber what the program was called but is a regular on foxtel... this guy he does loads and loads of magic tricks he goes onto a bus which is loaded with people he has a deck of cards he asks these two ladies if they can pick a card and remember what suit and number it is, they do this then place it back into the deck without him seeing it, he shuffles them and does a few other things,, he then tapped the top of the deck, next minute I couldnt believe my eyes as the bus is still moving along the card that the ladies chose was now on the outside of the bus on the windscreen visible to all, how did he get the card to end up on the outside of the bus when he was clearly still inside the bus

As a magician I personally think that magic on TV shows are actually great but they don't have the same impact as the ones that are performed live. Also because through television a lot of camera tricks could be used, the effect of a magic trick is always doubted by the sudiences.

There are time we could see one in kids private party, my kids love them so much that you could really see their pegged big eyes watching in amazement. They are regular magic which I see over and over again most of them I already knew the tricks. The best magic I've seen was in TV - David Copperfield show. Where he vanish the Statue of Liberty in front of audiences. I could see the helicopter encircling it, with their search light pointing at the base of the statue and its not really there. To this date I'm wondering how did he trick the eyes of his audience including all tv viewers.

i am a fond of magic. the first magic show that i had watched when i was a kid was the pendragon. their style is stage magic. until know, i am a fan of david copperfield. i really can't still figure out some of his tricks. nowadays, street magic is becoming popoular. but unlike stage magics, you can easily figure out the trick of a street magic.
