Friday the 13th

Nothing lucky or unlucky up to now...but come to think of it, I have a doctor's appointment on the 13th...yikes.

it is just another day but people look for bad things on that day and then can say you see I told you so, funny, I do have a story coming up called friday the 13th.

I was never supertitious of Friday the 13th. I was supertitious of any day the 13th. Not so much today... but it still play on my mind. The fact that I broke my leg on Saturday the 13th did not help (when I was 19). After that I was very worried about the 13th for quite a few years.

Oh really? I hadn't looked at the calendar lately to even notice that. I hope it is a good Friday for all of us though. I hate when bad things happen. Bad things always happen here so it would be nice to have some good things on a potentially bad day. I think most Friday 13th are all about the same too. I have never had any personal experiences with the date myself, that I can remember.

Nothing unlucky nor lucky has ever happened to me on a Friday the 13th... and i think that is a good thing... i treat this day as i would any ordinary day... i wonder why it came about to be an unlucky day... maybe because of the series of movies with the same title...

You wree right that Friday the 13th was just another day and it means for me another chance of life in a day but not for it is bad or good just because of the date....

I've never had any Friday the 13th issues..in fact I love that day LOL and its a common Poker Run date too in the warm months..AND this is HUGE back home too..I keep saying I'm gonna go but still havent made it I'd love to take my kids..they'd LOVE IT.. http://www.pd13.com/ I wouldnt say its a "lucky" day for me though..I just happen to love Friday 13ths LOL and when a full moon falls on thta date its even better

i had my very first kiss on september 13, 1984. so i have always thought of it as my lucky day!! LOL oh the first kiss is always the most amazing moment in any young girls life, and i tell you. Mine was magical!! so for me, it is always a special day. the 13th of any day

My dad will have a different story to tell. He finds it unlucky. To me, this day is just another day. However, I would be extra careful on this particular day. It's better to be safe than sorry.

I, for one, can honestly say that I've never had any worse luck on Friday the 13th than on any other day, kbourgerie. I take the date to be what it is-just another day. I know there are some people out there who are superstitious, but I've never been one of them. We should go about our business on Friday the 13th just as we would on any other day.

hi kb wow friday the 13th is coming and thats okay as I am not really superstitious and sometimes I have had lucky things happen to me on Friday the 13th so am looking forward to it. maybe something nice for a change. I could use some luck about now.

I consider 13 to be my lucky number. So, no, I expect nothing bad to happen on Friday the 13th. Why should it anyway. It is only stupid superstition anyway. Just another day.

Kat..as a matter of fact we have numerous parties going on that evening..its always a very happy day for us all and can't wait! Have never had a problem with the day and don't think I ever will!

I don't have a problem with Friday the 13th. I do not remember having anything go wrong on these days. Unlike a full moon or other superstitions. My daughter has said before that she is not going to do anything on this day in case something were to happen she does not want it to. I usually just do as I need to reguardless of the days.

The last few times friday the 13th has came around, I didn't even know until after it was over. Funny thing is, nothing bad happened. But, if I know ahead of time and actually remember on that day, it seems to be a bad day. I think things like that are all in peoples heads, if you believe it it will happen, if you think it's just dumb, nothing bad happens. But, sometimes I can't help but be superstitious :)

I have never had any bad experience on a Friday the 13th! In fact my niece got married on Friday the 13th last year and it was the best wedding any of us have ever been to - everything went perfectly, the weather was the one good day in the month and they are blissfully happy! xxx

No to me too it is just another day but a piece of trivia for you is that any month on the yearly calendar that has Sunday as the 1st day means you'll get a Friday the 13th in it. Ellie :D

Just a little tidbit A person with the fear of friday the 13th is called a Paraskevidekatriaphobe or a triskaidekaphobe. I've read that statistically speaking there are more hospital admissions and car accidents on Friday the 13th and that more people will stay home from work. I knew one lady who wouldn't leave her house on Friday the 13th EVER not even to water her garden or get the mail off the step. To me its just another day and I tend to forget even the date!
