out in the rain

my youngest daughter was preparing to go out and heading to malls together with her bf when loud thunderstorm was heared and the sky is dark and it nearly going to rain..and told her not to go since sooner or later it will rain..but she said rain or shine she really must go since its a bore staying in the house doing nothing ...(and her summer class have already finish and first semester class will be scheduled next week)..so 15 minutes after shes gone when it rains and wondering if she was caught with it (inside or outside the malls)...if you were in her place will you still go knowing that it will really rain?

I would not let rain stop me. If we were to stay home everytime it rained or looked like rain we'd get nothing done. Maybe rain is different where you live? Rain here is usually no big deal. It's possible to count on one hand the times I have seen rain that would be a problem for driving for instance.

I think you should be pleased your daughter wants to go out despite the possibility of rain. It is not healthy to stay indoors all day. It will be dry inside the shopping mall and she will be enjoying the company of her boyfriend, meeting and chatting with other people. All these things are important in life.
All you need is an umbrella or a waterproof and being out in the rain is no problem.

If i thought that once i got to the mall that i would be in the dry thrn yes I would go..if for one minute that the mall wasnt covered and I would get soakingh wet then no I wouldnt go!!but I love a day shopping..not to spend anything maybe but ust a day out with a coffee thrown in its great...and it makees such a change...so throwing caution to the wind im saying yes I probably would have gone.

i would go dont worry she will take care..when i was in college i also used to go out in rain with my friends and believe me we usd to have grt fun in the rain..it is her age let her enjoy..as it is once she reaches the mall it will b dry..take care..dont worry..
