Well I dug up and transplanted a lot of the Hostas that were in this bed. 3 were in the dead center row of this photo as well 2 on the right side row of this photo. Those have been transplanted elsewhere. In their place I have so far transplanted 6 or so of my Asiatic Lilies. I want this in a couple yeras time to be an all lily bed but if so I will have to make the area larger. but this is part of my work from the past few days in my garden and flower beds etc. HAPPY GARDENING FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I sure wish we lived closer to each other. I would try to hire you to do some landscaping. You sure do have a knack for it.

I would love to do it as well. it's a form of therapy for me. relaxes, calms, and soothes my body each time I garden in any way. Look below this discussion and check out my lilie discussion and photo from awhile back. Those will be blooming soon as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Well things look bad today. We had some severe weather go through with heavy downpours of rain. Now today we have steady 40 MPH winds. A lot of the flowers are broken and a lot are laying on the ground. Oh well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi GRANDPA BOB! Oh, I am sorry to hear that but I know with your green thumb you can always turn it around and have a magical garden once again. The flowers may be broken but they will still bloom with your care. Take care and God bless!

Very nice! I have to rescue some hostas from our blackberries.. I think I finally figured out my son's digital camera so now I have to take some pictures.. some of them will likely be kind of funny, like the large hostas being swallowed by blackberry bushes..

That's what the Hostas were doing to the the flowers in this small bed. So therefore they got split up and moved elsewhere. looking forward to some photos. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I imagine you did that all while dodging thunderstorms.I will check out the picture in a minute and comment on it. Need to go do some work before I fall back asleep. Short night last night.

Your flower bed is very pretty! I wish I could garden as nice as you do. I am trying to figure gardening out. Are Hostas easy to grow? Would they be good in a large flower bed (about 3 feet by 5 feet) right in front of some hedges? I am trying to figure out what to put in that huge flower bed area. Thanks so much!
