Heals or flat shoes?

So I fell over last saturday when I went out and spent 3 hours on sunday in A&E only to find I damaged the ligament in my right foot! That was wearing wedge heals, since then I've been in flip flops for obvious reasons! So what do you wear on a night out, someone advised me to wear flat shoes but you know what I might do, take them with me! Seriously I am thinking about starting out in my heals and then after about 3/4 drinks changing into my flip flops or flat shoes, I am probably less likey to fall over! ha ha what do you think?

Changing into flat shoes after 3/4 drinks is a wise decision.
I wear high heels wherever I can. I think they're so sexy!
Did your ligament heal okay?
What's an A&E? At first, I thought you were talking about the store American Eagle. I wondered why you were shopping?
After I went back and read your story more carefully, I had quite a laugh at my hasty thoughts. Lucky for me I re-read two or three times before I comment.

i prefer waring high heels. i love wearing high heels because my height is only 5" so i need to wear one in order for me and my partner not to look like a father and daughter. i also feel like a dwarf on my height so i really need to wear one mst of the times

Blimey, at the mo I still live in flip flops due to my bad foot which is strange for me as I generally wear heals, but I agree when you get use to wearing heels a lot flat shoes do hurt your feet for a while! Thanks for the response.

Definitely flat shoes for me! My knee joints are damaged due to wearing platforms when I was in my teens and early 20s, and believe me it's painful!
I now don't give two hoots as to what other people think about what I look like, as to me comfort is the most important issue for me now. If others don't like my flat shoes or think I'm dowdy or something, then I consider it's their problem and not mine.
I've worn flat shoes for years, and I now don't think I'd be able to balance in heels at all.

Whoops!
I can't remember the last time I wore heels, actually. Day to day I wear trainers of boots, I don't even own a proper pair of shoes. So, if I were going out for a night on the town, I would wear flat (or very nearly flat) boots. Much less chance of crippling myself then!

The doctors say that if you weight a certain amount you should buy shoes that can support your body. There is no problem in wearing a heel to clubbing but make sure it can support your weight. So if you are fat you wear the board bottom heels it is best. I am sorry that you were hurt while enjoying yourself. Are you fat and you wear one of thos stiletto heels LOL. Well please take care of yourself.
