With the concern over rising fuel costs,I was considering the relationship between engine size and Economy-The 1999 Peugeot 106 I drive has a 1.1 litre Engine-It has a 45 litre tank (about 10 gallons) ,I get on average 40mpg,and with normal commute driving, and say a weekly shopping trip, that's good for 2 weeks..How about Yours?

I have a 2008 Dierra 3500HD Extended Cab Long Box. It is a Duramax 6.6L Turbo Diesel V8. I get about 34 mpg.
I also drive a 1999 Chevy Silverado. It is a Vortec 5.3L V8 and horrible on fuel. I tend to just use it for off roading more than highway or city driving.
In spring summer and fall I drive a 2001 VT750C Shadow Spirit Motorcycle. I will tell ya it has a small guel tank but costs about $8.00 to fill up from empty and the fuel lasts a good week or so depending on how much you drive it.

I have a 4.3 Vortec V-6. Not the best in the world on gas, but it isn't exactly the worst one around either. I need to do a tune up on it, though, and that would help the mileage a little.
