Have you ever seen and heard your dog talking to another dog?

I overheard a brief conversation between my dog, Tina, and a stray dog, whom I call Elizabeth, yesterday. Elizabeth usually keeps to herself, but yesterday she came up near the gate and made some curious funny sounds, neither a bark nor a whine nor a growl. This was something different, and we thought it was really funny. At that time, my Tina was fast asleep inside her kennel. When Elizabeth started "talking," Tina woke and started wagging her tail very hard and said something too--another funny, curious sound. We were laughing so hard because they both looked and sounded so funny. I wonder what they said they each other. I can only use my imagination and translate their conversation roughly as: Elizabeth: So, little one! Your mother is chaining you up these days, is she? Well, didn't I tell you not to misbehave so much? Now see... haha!! Tina: tee hee.. Lizzie.. Mom will soften one day! She always has! Besides, I love being chained up!!
