This was my first day of walking with the pedo. I never usually put it on. Well anyway went to the store today and threw it on. Just over 1000 steps in there. I do have one question. Do you leave your pedos on all day as you walk around to do little stuff or do you go out and walk around?

I put my ped on as soon as I get up and get dressed of the mornings and take it off when I get ready for bed. That way those steps through the day on routine stuff get counted too. But to see the steps adding up it really does motivate you to do more walking and actually take that walk outside sometimes. You did great today! Thanks for posting and God bless.!

I will keep that in mind thank you. As soon as I get up I will put it on and let you know how I did the following day. Thanks for the little bit of info. I do do a fair amount of walking throughout the day so I think I will be right up there with you guys. Thanks for the feedback.

I mowed the yard last night and my stupid pedometer said that for the whole day I only had 420 steps! Last time I mowed I had over 6,000. I think I should have spent more on a better pedometer.

Well, it seems I have the same problem. My ped is saying I have gotten a huge total of 594 steps today! LOL I know I have done lots more than that but I can't prove it by my pedometer. But that isn't going to get me down just because my ped isn't saying I walked, I know I have gotten more steps, right dragon54u?

That's right! They're just little computers. I bought the cheapest one I found and I should've bought the one that was $2 more. I often find that I buy inferior things to save money. Well, this is another lesson!

I still haven't been able to stop and get a new pedometer yet. I've had grandma duty this week as well as working my full time job. So hopefully I will be able to get another one in a few days. I will actively join in on the discussions once I get a new pedometer. Have a great day steppping!

Terri, you don't have to wait until you get a pedometer. You can continue to post and comment, just tell us what you did that consisted of walking because some of us are having troubles with out peds anyway. LOL
