Manicure And Pedicure Hazzards

I have gotten a Manicure and Pedicure maybe twice in my life. While I love the pampering, I just can not sit still long enough for it to dry. My finger nails grow nice and long, so I don't need the acrylic ones. I heard a long time ago that they can cause infections. I also heard about the nightmares at nail salons caused by not keeping the area and instruments well sanitized.

I do on occasion and have never had a bad experience with the one I go to up the road. She's really good and does a great job. I like getting pampered when I can afford it.

I have actually never had a manicure or pedicure. I guess I just never feel like spending the money on it. I just always try to keep my own nails looking as nice as possible by myself. I would really like to get it done sometime though. I think it would be fun to try out sometime. I have heard some horror stories of some places like that, but I don't think it has ever happened to anyone I actually know, fortunately.

I've never had a pedicure because I can't tolerate anyone touching my feet! I have had one manicure and it would have been very nice but I ruined it in no time because I left before the nail polish dried and ruined the great job she did!
