I am a huge fan of Monty Python. I love most of their sketches like the dead parrot sketch, the sketch about Karl , bring out your dead sketch, selfdefence classes or the funniest joke on earth. The movie Monty Python and the holy grail is excellent too. Knights who say Ni, or the legendary killer rabbit rocks. The Bridgekeeper even deserved a parody in fallout 2.
What is the best thing about Monty Python for you? Which sketch do you think is the most funniest?

There were so many excellent sketches throughout the series that it is impossible to select a favourite. I was a huge fan of Monty Python and they were the first team to truly understand the nature of zany humour since the fabulous Goon Show on radio.
I was very disappointed with the films, despite having some very funny content they seem to add too much padding to extend the performance over a longer period, whereas the shows were constant rapid humour.

The one that always sticks in my mind is the one where there's a son who's come home to speak to his parents, and his dad looks like a typical coal miner and has a Yorkshire accent etc, and the son is wearing a suit. But when they start talking it turns out the father is a novelist and the son wants to leave to become a coal miner and huge argument ensues.
