Dreamworks has come a long way in their production of animated films. This one could well be the best of all, in terms of story and animation.
With a cast of well know names voicing the characters, this movie is set to go a long way in the box office!
The shows opens with the story of the legendary warrior who possesses the ultimate skills in the pugilistic world.
And the introduction to all the main characters of the movie. Then the dream was broken with the calling of his dad to work in the kitchen... and there we are introduced to the main Character Po.
Po has this dream to be come a kung fu warrior. But due to his size, he is shunned by the schools. Given the chance one day to go view the selection of the dragon warrior, he eagerly went to the jade palace to join the crowd.
As fate would have it, his clumsy ways managed to get him selected as the would-be dragon warrior to be. Then comes the comic tale of how he manages to train under the tough rule of the Si Fu.
A very funny tale indeed. I throughly enjoyed it. So much so, I am contemplating whether to watch the chinese version of the show or not. I would recommend this movie to all, young and old. A very entertaining movie that is well worth the weekend price of a movie ticket!
So what are you waiting for?

ha ha ha ha ha...
I DID watch it again. Much to the annoyance of my wife. (Cos I drag her to go with me... 8p )
It was all good. The jokes were still funny. And the graphics were really beautiful.
The second time round, I paid more attention to the details that I missed the last time.
The sceneries that were rendered were beautiful. The cartoon characters really have a very good human trait to them. For example, Wu Gui, has those little shakes and shivers like what an old man would do. That constant lip licking reminds me of my grandfather who is not used to being toothless. Ha ha ha ha...
.
This show really rocks! I really can't wait to get my hands on the DVD when it is released!
Want to watch it in the chinese version too!
Heh heh heh... my wife probably will be rolling her eyes if she read this post. 8p

This show ain't just for kids alone. Adults will enjoy it just as much. In fact, most of the theme in the movie will be more understandable by an adult rather than a child.
In fact, the number of adults vs kids in the cinema during that show, adults outnumbered kids at least 4 to 1!
I am also looking forward to Wall-E! The first time I watched that trailer, I already felt in love with the character. It is oh so cute!!!! heh heh... Toy Story 3 is still a long way to come. Let's just enjoy this summer's serving of movies first.
Remember what Master Wu Gui said "Tomorrow is a mystery, Yesterday is history. Today is a gift. That is why it is call THE PRESENT!"

You are most welcome momma.
I love to watch movies too. And if a good one comes along, I will really want to watch it again and again.
After watching it, I was already telling my wife, lets go get the DVD when it is released. And crossing my fingers that it will be packed full of extras.
I love the movie so much, in fact, I am going to watch it again today! 8p

Just last night as my brother came home with my 5yo nephew, he was talking about how good the movie they have just seen -- Kungfu Panda.
Now, here I find a post about it that, for a while, I thought it was him who made the post.
Well, I might as well see the movie soon.

Thanks for responding to this thread.
Yeah... I love the movie. In fact, I am looking forward to getting the DVD release for my collection!
The toys of the characters are not as pretty though. I was hoping to get some of the toys for collection. But none of them caught my eye yet.

YEah... go watch it! It is really really good. No bluff!
I went to watch it twice and still love it a lot.
If not for the hefty price, I probably would go catch the chinese version of it as well.
A story of how one dream can make a difference in ones life. Of how two totally unrelated things can some how reflect each other at some level. Beautiful!

I enjoyed it so much, felt I had to share.
You will love it too. The characters are so lovable.
Especially when you know that the panda is voiced by Jack Black, you will be surprised how lovable this panda is.
Nothing at all like the other irritating characters that Jack Black has portrayed so far.
