earning less this time because of no best response, is that true?

I only made 0.80 last night. But I posted more than 100 responses.
The last time I responded to less than 50 discussion but earned $1.12
I honestly believed that your earnings are increased if your reponse get a best reponse mark.
I remember the day I recieved 1.12, I received several best response.
so my question, when you start a discussion do you rate the responses?

wow!! that's great!! congratulations for the job well done. yes I rate the discussion which I think best suit the answer I wanted. I never rate negative. I just leave it with no rating if it doesn't suit. giving negative rating is like you are putting down somebody. I don;t like to do that. Leave it there with no rating rather than giving negative rate... So as for you, you are doing a good job.. Keep it up.. I;m sure you also have good and sensible replies.

I don't rate too, becuase that last thing I want to do is give someone a bad rating. I only choose to rate best response. I dont know for sure if this helps them earn more, but it is worth the effort for they took the chance to think it thorougly before responding thanks

Well,I am not so much sure of it.
Also,its against mylot guidelines to try to interpret how mylot algorithm works.

wow, thanks. I did not know that is is against mylot guidleines to interpret that. I guess I shall stay away from that area from now on and just mentally think about it in my dreams LOL... he he...

I don't really know how mylot works as far as pay verses post. I just try to have a great time and enjoy discussions on here. The money is only an added incentive. I do try to mark a best response but I do try to wait a while first to make sure I got all the responses I will recieve. Then I go in and give a best response as far as rating them I tend to forget but it sounds like I need to do that.
