Well I had my day out with my family, we went over to my Mum & Dads as they were going to have a barbeque and had kindly invited us!
The weather was cold and cloudy but did not rain and the sun came out as we were going back home! So we did not eat outside, too cold, but ate at their table by the patio doors which was nice enough.
We had chicken and vegetable Kebabs, corn on the cob, sausage and chicken kebabs, garlic bread, lots of little nibbles and dips. It was really nice and tasted so much better because someone else was cooking it! I was able to pick at what I could eat too. While we were eating a Blackbird flew into the garden, I think he was hoping for an invite!
For dessert my Mum and Dad had bought me a beautiful Forever Friends birthday cake as it was my birthday this Friday just gone, so that was a nice little surprise. My kids were impeccably behaved which was even better and I just had a real happy and relaxing day!
So what sort of a day have you all had today?

the sprite and i ponced on mal early thismorning and showered him with gifts.. made him breakfast.. made him lunch.. and we just did an assembly line of pb&j sammiches for dinner. ive organized and cleaned my bathroom.. and have been on and off watching csi vegas on spike all afternoon. rainy hazy puttering kinda day. its been nice

Sounds like a good day! I have two things to say, first is that I love csi vegas and I watch it when it is on here! Second, how come everyone seems to like pb & J sandwiches? Are the just peanut butter and jam?

We had a fairly good day yesterday. It was Fathers Day for my husband. We wanted to go swimming but the bugs were biting me too bad. It was very humid outside. I just cooked us some spaghetti and garlic bread and we watched a movie. We worked the night before so we were both tired already. We ate and watched a movie and went to bed.

Hi gemini, that's cool! I'm sure everyone loves it and had fun including the bird..LOL! We also had some BBQ tonight, the rain didn't stop my hubby to cook it and I miss having corn on it, anyway, better luck next time..LOL!

That really does sound like a good day and I am so pleased you enjoyed it despite the weather! You deserve to have had such a relaxing day honey. We went shopping for some last minute clothes that we need for our holidays and I had some lovely tomato, herb and mozarella pasta with crusty bread and butter for dinner! Yummy Went along to weemams house with a Fathers Day Card and some toblerone for her other half after dinner and that was lovely too so all in all had a great day! xxx

Oh I am so pleased that you have had such a lovely day and thank you for sharing it with us all. I had a friend round last night and had a few drinks so I was feeling delicate, self inflicted though eh, so I have had a really lazy day lounging around not doing a lot just the essentials. Ellie :D
