Congrats. It was a quiet day here. I picked up some corn for tomorrow. I just love corn on the cob and it's the first of the season so all the better. I can't wait to make it tomorrow. Would have made it today, but my daughter was at her dad's and she would ill me if I made it without her...lol.

I've planted about 3 dozen or so sweet corn plants. Most are about mid shin height right now and looking very healthy. I can't wait to walk out my back door and pick my OWN sweet corn. We had roasted sweet corn with steaks and brats this evening BBQed.

Wow, this made me salivate of the thought of chicken, its really nice to eat hot and spicy and eating with bare hands with rice and some soy sauce with chillies. WOw, this is so good. Thats the best way to prepre chicken is to grill it, i love eating grilled chicken and here in the Philippines there are lots of restuarants serving grilled chicken and lots of people love it as well.

That will be fun to have some guests cupid since we prepared 8 slices..LOL! INdeed mouth watering, I was going back and forth outside to check if it was finish since I am so eager to start eating..LOL!

Hey thats good, How did you prepared it? inside the house? I have never tasted bbq, wish to taste it. what is your recepi for bbq. I have found a site who has recepi but we have to pay for it. If you like to share the recepi please do that for me..

Hi yogeshdhusa, my hubby prepare it...first he brushed the chicken with salt,pepper and oil. Then wait for 2 hours before BBQuing it. Then, while cooking he is also brushing it with the hot sauce he prepared and some vinegar...I hope you will be able to make some..It tastes good really. Our grilled has a cover so we just cook it outside under the rain..LOL! A picture attached for you friend!

I read the snippet that mylot shows of this discussion, and thought that I would respond. It sounds as if you had a very nice dinner, I always enjoy BBQ dinners, and usually end up eating them all up. Now my mouth is watering, mmmm!

Our Left overs usually last two days to a full week depending on what it is. The side items (greens, rice, potatoes) usually end up being eaten first. I'm glad you enjoyed it though, and hopefully you'll have it sometime again soon.

Way to go. I also don't mind BBQ in the rain. We had steak, brats, and roasted sweet corn BBQed today (Sunday) for dinner. Our son dropped in to visit for dinner as well. Finally a hot and sunny day for us in Minnesota. Now a week long without rain they are saying. Yippee!

That sounds really good. We just recently put a roof over our back deck so we can cook out if it rains or shines without getting wet. I love to BBQ outdoors. My husband loves rice also. I can eat some of it. We love to eat corn and mashed potatoes with out meals also. I hope you all have a nice dinner.

Thanks stephcjh, we had a very wonderful dinner indeed and that is what we don't have right now..A roof, LOL! Good thing that grill has so even if we will just place it outside, it won't ruin the chicken or pork! My husband loves mashed potatoes also..

Aha, talk about BBQ...! I am really jealous of you. I have been trying to hold a small BBQ party for my family members but still can't find the right time to do it. Reading your discussion makes me thing of the plan again *smiles* and I feel hungry now!
