hi friends i noticed a strange thing i see lot of young boys and girls loitering arond here and there all through the day using bad language and simply wasting money and time ...but this is one particular group and i was surprised to know tht they were either staying in hostel or both there parents were working so they had no one to check on them... i remember i used to have deadlines to meet my dad wud work my mom also used to teach from home..we were bought up under supervision and guidance of our parents? we always knew at the back of our mind tht mom is checking on us so we need to b back on time? and all this actually helped in achieving my educational goals and in my growth as a good citizen...do u think supervision is needed over children? how do parents chk their child when both work late? how wud u mak a balance between ur work and your childs day to day activities? how wud u guide your child if u r away at work?..

That's why there is so much disorder and many other crime activities around this days. Too much work, parents must do it, to support them and their growing demands, plus all other demands of being part of a society. Schools should be opended till late evenings and offer more variety for them to get involved. The comunity should also come up with programs of interest for young people and others, so they could get togheter and share interests, talk, plays and so on.

Thanks for your coments, at least somebody thinks as I do. If parents won't take care of their bussines with their own kids, who will. There are out there many other people who will give the wrong advice or answer to their kids, just to take advantage of them.

What you describe is exactly what the problem is. Parents today want society to raise their children and not have to take the responsibility for it themselves. If a couple are willing to have children then they should accept the responsibilities that come with it. If that means losing part of their income for a while, then so be it. Too often nowadays, we see couples having kids but not willing to give up their careers. From the time the child is les than a year old, the child is placed in a daycare and then preschool, then kindergarten and so on and so on. The parents spend less than 10% of the time required to ensure a proper upbringing. You can identify these children in the schools and in the grocery aisles - they are the spoilt ones because the parents feel guilty and therefore give in to the child's every demand. The child has them well trained as they scream till they get their way knowing the parent will give in. If people want children, they need to take responsibility for the upbringing and not burden society with it.

Hi dear
very true and nice observation
the kids staying in hostel or kids with their parents abroad are very differrnt and carefree ( most of times) they have no one to check the performance and activities and they have ample money to waste on extra curriculsar activities. so chance of getting spoiled are high
other thing in fast growing economy, if father is working in pvt company then he really dont have time for any thing else,so cant give proper time to family and kids. and of both parents are working then for sure its more hard as both are tired and need to look other chores and result is NEGLECTED KIDS,
i do believe that you should give prioper time to ur kids as they are your assests of future, if they get right and proper raising and growing it will be good for u and society as well. we should give them due time aliong with other activities
Take care

You can go into a classroom of thirty kids and separate those that have a parent at home all of the time and those that go home to an empty house every day because the parents are more concerned of making enough money to have all of the toys. We have developed a society that is focussed on material and not on family. This is a problem most prevalent in North America. If you are going to have kids, at least one parent (father or mother) should put their career on hold till the children gain some independence the correct way, not because they were forced to.
