Was Katherine Heigl's comment a slap in Greys face?

KH aka Izzie pulled herself from the Emmy nomination list because she felt that she wasnt given the material on Grey's to warrant an Emmy nomination.. to me that is insulting since to me if i was nominated for anything i would be happy but it seems snobbish that she is letting some one else have a chance to win it that deserves it type thing.. i think she is *trying* to sound like she is being nice or something.. i hear she wants out of her contract because she thinks she isnt getting enough money but is this the way to do it?? wouldnt you just suck it up and be a good actress and fulfill your agreement to show that you are a good worker?? i know johnny depp complained every day he went into 21 jump street and got out of it but come on!! do we really want to list all the people that think they are better than they are once they do a few films and burn their bridges then bomb?? i dunno.. you would think that if you are on a sucessful tv show for years and get so many million or whatever an episode that it would even out or be better to keep the show or at least do both the show and movies to maximize your money making potential.. but that is just me..
