For me its YES! I do expect a reply for every responses i make for a discussion from the person who started the discussion. During my early days here at mylot i didn't take much interest in replying to all the responses i get for my discussions, but now i realized that by commenting to my responses i make the discussion more meaningful and more people are taking interest in replying to the discussions i start. Me too like to respond to discussions from people who are sure to give a reply. I know it can be difficult to reply to all the responses, but i feel one should atleast reply to 60-70% of the responses he/she gets within say...one month of starting the discussion. Please share your opinion on this topic.

I will try to reply people who respond in my topic, but rarely reply to those who comment my respond.

That should be the way it works. It is a two way traffic. I do feel that my response is being acknowledged and appreciated if the person who started the discussion give a short reply. But what will happen if you get tons of response, my only solution is giving at least 50% reply and the rest will be given positive remarks.

yes thats true..we cannot track all our responses and their might be people responding after 1 year, we should try to give the maximum replies ... thats the way it should be, i know some people who never miss one even after years!

I wouldn't expect a reply but a reply would be nice. I will be very happy to see one. Different people work in different ways so it's kind of unfair to put our expectations on others. As for me, I'll reply to all responses of my discussions.

I've seen so mylotters who do not reply to all responses or who only reply to some responses. I think most mylotters do look back at their discussions. Only a minority do not.

i'm only against people starting discussions and never looking back.. but if i have put my heart into a response i definitely would like to get a reply for that.

Yea,its a very good thing to receive a comment for our responses. But,I don't usually expect comment for all the responses I have made,as some times its very difficult to comment on each and every response if you don't have anything much to tell. But,I agree in your view that I know it can be difficult to reply to all the responses, but i feel one should at least reply to 60-70% of the responses he/she gets within say...one month of starting the discussion I always try my level best to reply to almost all the responses I get for my discussions. Cheers! Have a great day Happy mylotting and happy earnings.

Most of the times I don't expect any response from responses. For my discussion I try to respond if the reply is worth responding. At the start I didn't take interest in replying to the discussion but now I do take interest. But still replying to every response is very tough task. I think I reply to 50% of respondents.

Yes I would like to read a reply from my response to any discussion. Do I expect a reply, not really. It not only adds to the discussion but it reminds me that the person who initially started the discussion is atleast thinking about what I posted. I do remember who responds and who doesn't take the time to respond to my response. A little thank you is so nice. It might take me time to respond to everyone who posts a response to my discussion but I will eventually get around to answering. Most of my discussions don't bring in that many responses but I keep plugging along! Good discussion here.

I do keep track of all my friends discussions even if like know it takes me awhile to get to them since I have so many and since I run an online business I have to allocate my time.

I don't always comment on all of the responses I get to my discussions. If there is nothing more to say or add to it, I just don't do it. But if there is a question asked of me, or more to say on the subject I will say more. But to just comment a thank you for your response, is against the mylot guidelines and you could get the discussion deleted because of it. So the answer to your question is, no I don't always comment on the responses I get to my discussions. We are not really required to do so.
