Doggy Bed

As most of you know, my pom had her puppies last week. Well, the doggy bed they were all sleeping on is old and worn completely out. So, I got the bright idea of making on for them. We used one of those soft throw blankets and some quilting pading for the inside. I created the design and my husband put it together. It's not perfect looking, but they love it and it's a lot softer. Have you ever made something on the sper of the moment?

I also have made a bed out of old blankets for sparky. I think they really enjoy them since they have your scent. It makes them feel at home. WTG Pom on your new arrival.

I think you are right. As soon as we put it on the floor Lady, my pom, went right to it and laid down. She has two babies, one girl and one boy.

How cute is that, a boy and a girl, did you named them? How did you come up with Pom?

I haven't named them, but I have been calling the smallest one little bit and little one. Pom isn't her name but what she is. Her name is Lady. She was given to me and already had her name. It fits her though as she is a lady. Here is a photo of Lady and her babies in their new bed.

I would love to make a doggy bed for my moms dogs for Christmas. Was it really hard to do. Did you use a sewing machine or do it by hand.

It was done by a sewing machine. It was pretty easy to make though.

Never anything as industrious as a dog bed.. I would love to make one if my dogs would sleep in them, but they will not, they like the real bed..

aww congradulations for your pomeranian thats so nice of you make them all a little dog bed so they have something warm to sleep in when i get some time on my hands i would like to try to make my dogs a new dog bed (even though they do not need one right now) haha i usually make my halloween costumes spur of the moment sometimes they work out sometimes they do not i love making things for myself and for all of my animals
