What Bible Translation You Use?

i am talking to Christian people but Muslims can also share ideas if they have use the Bible for cross reference. I used "New World Translation Of The Holy Scripture" in english and cebuano. How about you guys?

New World Translation Of The Holy Scripture??? Never heard before till now. BTW I use NKJV and The Message version

I use the KJV version bible. The only true written, preserved english bible.

Hi julyteen again, Its seems that you love to post many discussions about the Bible and about GOD. We muslims also use the Bible and you were right that we use the bible for cross reference only. We use Tagalog and english and in our Holy koran we use English for those converted islams that don't understand arabic yet.

For studying I'm partial to the King James version and the New Amplified version.
If I just want to read for enjoyment, I like the Living bible, or one that leaves out all the 'Thees, thous and thuses'.
I also take care with the footnotes, I take them with a grain of salt. I figure God is big enough to give me the meaning without footnote imput.
