Hi julyteen again, Its seems that you love to post many discussions about the Bible and about GOD. We muslims also use the Bible and you were right that we use the bible for cross reference only. We use Tagalog and english and in our Holy koran we use English for those converted islams that don't understand arabic yet.

I use the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible. When I was still attending Bible studies, I use both NIV version and King James.

Holy Bible - Which version is right for you?
For studying I'm partial to the King James version and the New Amplified version. If I just want to read for enjoyment, I like the Living bible, or one that leaves out all the 'Thees, thous and thuses'. I also take care with the footnotes, I take them with a grain of salt. I figure God is big enough to give me the meaning without footnote imput.
