Yep, I said I love you to this guy and he took it the wrong way. I meant it to mean I love you as a friend but hes kind of an idiot and took it to mean something else. Its all cleared up now but its nothing I'd care to repeat.

Yes I have and I still regret that and don't know how to make him understand that I meant that only as a friend. This is one thing that has a different meaning for different cultures. I have friends all over the world and many of them use "I love you" to express how deeply they care about the friendship. I thought that was all I was doing with this friend of mine but I'm afraid he thinks it is so much more and that he is even planning a future for us together.
