So today I was at Rona buying light fixtures for my house, when we get to the car and I hear " wheres my keys" I quickly glance at the ignition and sure enough I found the keys. I sat around for about 10 minutes before my friend had found something to jimmy the door with. Thank god for handy people. Whens the last time you locked the keys in the car or were with someone who did? Whats your story.

The last time we lost our keys was about four years ago. My spouse had taken all the stuff out of his pockets and laid it over on the couch and everything got lodged into the couch. I think our keys are still stuck in the couch, but I have never located them. Lucky for me, I kept a spare key on the wall above my sink. That spare key was used for our car until the day our car broke down and we had to get rid of it for a new car!

Both my husband and I have locked our keys in our cars. But one time topped ALL the others. We had been to our daughter's an hour from our home. On leaving, my husband wanted a cup of coffee, so we stopped in this service station to get gas and let him get a coffee. He had gotten out to pump the gas and I decided to get out and tell him to let me drive since he had been working all day and was tired. When I got out of the car, I left my purse in the floorboard. He came around and asked me to go in with him. He turned to shut my door and at the same time I was hollering, "Don't"! The don't was because HE had left his keys in the ignition, something he never does and I had left my purse in the car, something I never do when I'm going in a store, which wasn't my intention when I got out of the car. This little episode cost us money! He had called the Cadillac place to check about a key. He didn't let them give him the code for the key and called a lock smith. The locksmith said he could get it open without the code. Well, he used whatever method to get it open and in doing so, broke the lock. We come to find out this was not the real locksmith himself, but his son who worked with him! We had a broken lock and a bill to boot! It really made us angry!

I've read the same thing happened to Jennifer Garner. She left her car keys inside the car. Good thing her daughter who was inside could follow instructions. Hehe. Speaking of door keys, I just lost mine yesterday. I must have left in a cab I was in before heading to the mall.
