Do you ever put off going to the shop until Tomorow

It's not a bad idea! Sometimes I will try to see if we can wait one more day before having to buy groceries. Then the next grocery day we spend over a hundred dollars. So, it pays to hold off for a day or two!

Oh yeah, we do! When we are looking through our coupons and making our grocery list, we'll often see how many days we can "put off" going to the grocery. We call it our clean out the frige-meals... it's fun to see how many meals we can scrape together. A little bit of chop meat and chicken are always good for a taco dinner. Little bit of lettuce, tomato and some cheese (and of course using all the packets of hot sauce from Taco-Hell) Or pancakes for the boys (they love pancakes for dinner... they think it's a treat when I make them chocolate chip pancakes or banana pancakes) and my hubby and I will grill up the last of the chicken and mix it in with some lettuce for a chicken salad. Sometimes it's a buffet of of leftovers where we cook up everything, use all the partial boxes of pasta to make mac and cheese, steam the rest of the veggies and lay it all out on the dinner table to just pick from and we all eat on the couch, watching a movie with the boys. Some days, preparing everything is a lot of work, but the boys like our "pot-luck" dinners and I think it also teaches them about wasting food and making due!

We have to do this all the time! Mostly because we really dont' have the money to buy more stuff until payday. It's hard to stretch that tiny dollar from payday to payday but we do the best we can with what we've got so, yes, we put off shopping until tomorrow A LOT!

I always put everything off for another day and that day never comes!! I say I'll do it on my next day off but then I get distracted and when I think about it, its time to make tea or go to bed so as they say....tomorrow never comes!!! As for shopping though, I do that but only as I work in a supermarket so its I have no excuse for not shopping!!!

i sure do. i have a weakness for buying groceries anyway so i stay out of them long as i can. i try not to go but every couple of weeks sometime even longer. of coursr that makes it hard to get so many in the house when i do that. i have some killer back steps.

I shop on the same day each week so that I can take advantage of double coupon day at my local store. I do not do mid week trips unless its an emergency need like toilet paper -- lol
